We had the ribs and swordfish- both were great but the ribs were certainly amazing. What stood out the most, however, was the welcoming atmosphere and impeccable service by Milan and the rest of the staff, who also gave my mum a sweet surprise at the end, to celebrate her birthday. Would happily stop by again.

A really nice, new, welcoming place, polite staff, good food standard, but kitchen struggles to serve within decent time frames if the place is full.We booked a table of eight on a Saturday night and within 10 minutes of being seated, we had ordered our starters and mains. Our starters appeared after 45 minutes, and our mains were served after 1 hour 15 mins after our starter plates were cleared...and we had to ask the staff whether they had an idea of when our mains were expected...Clearly the kitchen could not cope with the volume, including the extra tables placed outside...When one considers the pricing of some of the items (burger @€19.50) this place is not cheap. But when a long wait is compounded in having your main dish (in our case duck) not cooked properly, then this becomes a really bad situation....To be fair, the head waitress serving our table (after all the restaurant witnessed her putting up with another incident by probably another impatient customer) did notice that the duck was not eaten and said that this will be deducted from our bill, together with any complimentary desserts and liqueur, which we had.Our bill arrived, I gave it a glance to see whether the duck was removed (it was) and we paid up. Looking at the bill again at home, we found out that we were charged for a second bottle of white wine (which we didn't have) @€25... by coincidence, the price of the duck main...an genuine error or sneaky intention? If it wasn't for the fact that we were enjoying a long awaited family reunion, in a new, nicely decorated place with polite (but helpless) staff, one would think twice on revisiting, especially on busy days. The place has real potential, but they must solve their kitchen capability to cope. Otherwise if they want to become just another pizza place, they will lose out on restaurant patrons that are willing to pay a little extra for some really good new idea dishes.

We visited I Due Sardi after seeing good reviews, but our experience didn't live up to expectations. The pizzas were edible but not good quality, and the red wine was far too warm, way above normal room temperature. Our waitress was completely uninterested in her job, and seemed to be untrained in customer service skills.Overall, a poor experience.Certo che il ketchup sulla pizza all'ananas, non è il massimo della cucina gourmet, ma il bello di questo pianeta è che esistono gusti e pareri differenti su tutto

We are currently doing a pre season camp in Malta and by chance we stopped by Vinnie's on our first day here for food. Since then due to the marvelous food and excellent service from Tony and his staff we have been visiting nearly everyday sometimes twice a day due to our schedule. Tony looked after us and catered to our every needs. The food was excellent and service tremendous. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Malta.

I was surprised reading previous reviews which gave good ratings for this venue. We came across the restaurant while walking up the street, on checking the menu it appeared reasonable, the premises looked really clean and our initial welcome was good. Apart from ourselves there was only one family group and three other couples. It took a while for the shared starter to arrive but we thought nothing of that initially. Then we had a long wait for the main to arrive, whilst listening to the kid with the family crying constantly. It was close to an hour before the two pasta dishes arrived (hardly the slowest thing in the world to prepare) A couple sitting opposite were getting very frustrated at their length of wait and when they were about to leave the food suddenly appeared. I can’t judge for them but they left after only a few mouthfuls of their pizza. When our food finally arrived it was mediocre at best and there was no apology or reason for the wait. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but this was as close as I’ve ever been to demanding a refund.

Ate here several times in October last year, and was so looking forward to coming back, and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing, the staff so helpful and friendly, we ate here again several times this trip, my favourite still being the Limone Tagliatelle, so many prawns, my sons favourite is the Swordfish Ravioli. Nice, clean restaurant and great that you can see the friendly chef cooking. Looking forward to next year and eating here again. I cannot recommend La Stalla highly enough.

This is a fairly small, cosy restaurant with a really nice ambiance. The menu has a large choice of pastas and pizzas and the wine is very reasonably priced. Service was great. I loved the pasta which I chose (Damiano’s special). My husband was slightly less enthusiastic about his lasagne which he found a little dry. He did however say that he would go back to try one of the pizzas which looked fantastic.

Away from the main square you will find this excellent restaurant. We enjoyed it so much we visited twice in our week there. The bruschetta starter is very tasty and was Cooked perfectly so had it again on our second visit . The waitress and the owner ensure everything is ok , explained that as my partner ordered lamb it would take longer which was fine . On our visits we had lamb , veal , chicken and beef rolls all cooked to perfection with fresh veg. The wine menu has a great variety which we took full advantage of along with the desert menu great Irish coffee too. Lovely relaxed atmosphere serving very tasty food . A must if you are in Buggiba

One of top #3 pizza I've ever had and I'm a pizza enthusiast, serving it around the world. The recipes differ and you might find some them really not on your taste just because you choose the wrong one.Just look carefully and pick the right ingredient for you.The location is appalling. But the staff is fantastic and they don't deserve less than 5* because of that.It could be crowded sometimes, so expect that. And it's off-way, so not really in line with other restaurants which you can easily choose from if this is full. But you should see them really struggling and working hard and you will understand they put their efforts and deserve nothing less than the best from you also.

Myself & my partner had the maltese board starter which had enough food to be shared between 4 easily, it had various cheeses, olives, tomatoes & breads etc and was lovely and tasty! I then had the seafood pasta which was brimming with king prawns, clams & mussels, very tasty and a huge serving of pasta with a light sauce of white wine & garlic which went perfectly with the seafood. Partner had the vegetarian ravioli and loved it, all the food was tasty and huge portions! Didn't have a pudding as we were too full but all options sounded and looked fantastic! 2 courses, a bottle of wine & a bottle of water was around 40 euros which we thought was well priced.Dear Guest,Primarily I would like to thank you for you kind feedback. We are pleased to read you enjoyed your dinner experience. We sincerely hope to see you again during your next stay in Malta.Sincerely,Martha
