The mark of a really good, can do Restsurant is what happens when the main chef is out sick. In this case the owner steps in and the food is still good. At a packed house on Saturday night my Sea bream curry with eggplant served with saffron rice was the best curry I've had in Mauritius in three weeks. The salad bar was fresh and very, very good. Nice selection and it's free. The pineapple flambé was a nice surprise. I saw lots of other tasty meals going by me towards eager diners. Lots to try the next time which will be soon.

I had a slice at the food festival held at Domaine de Labourdonnais and loved it after one bite. Drove from Vacoas with two friends on a Saturday night. I was immediately greeted by the friendly staff and incredible aroma of baking pizza. This place is perfect for casual date night or groups.

We are here twice for dinner, both times the food was great, the service excellent and we were made to feel very welcome. The pizzas and bruschettas are particularly good and some of the homeade pasta dishes are superb. We also indulged in a trio of puddings - all equally good.
