Due to a recent hospital stay ... I'm temporarily house bound .... I wanted Pizza but the Pizza Hut was closed down so I called Domino's .. For $22.15 I got a medium sized Pizza ... supposedly loaded w/everything & a small garden salad ..... except that the Pizza was barely edible & had a variety of veggies & meat .. but actually very little of anything was on it ........ I'll never order from them again ..........

We ate here because we were staying in Pocatello (and my nephew works here!). Not the biggest fan of pizza buffets, but this one was very decent. It also has a pasta and salad line in addition to the pizza. So it has a good selection to try and satisfy even the pickiest eater like my daughter. The staff were also very nice and helpful to us. Enjoyable experience.

We like to find local restaurants that the community loves when visiting a town. We found one, Vilanos. The food was delicious and the restaurant had a good selection of Italian food from which to select. I order chicken fettuccine which I shared with my wife and daughter. My wife had sausage and meatballs and sausage. We ordered a side of garlic cheese bread which was scrumptious and we devoured it. My other daughter order fettuccine vegan style. The service was delightful and we spent the evening eating and laughing and socializing. Good food and good people.I want to try the lasagna. It sounded like a culinary master piece

This was our first trip to Pocatello and to be fair, it seems as if the city was digging out from a snow storm. Maybe it always snows a foot here? Decided to take our teen son here on Saturday night. Possibly due to the snow covered roads, it was difficult to determine where the parking lot entrance was. Outer Limits is smaller than the pictures online make it appear. We were going to order food but when we went to the food counter, the 3 young guys working there were wearing aprons just splattered and smeared with who knows what substances. It didn't seem clean. We decided not to eat. (There is a Sonic less than a mile away.)My son wanted to play laser tag, but we were told that there were no other players in the laser tag facility for him to play with. So that left the arcade. The arcade seems to have the latest state of the art games. They look new and are in great condition. My son spent $10 and 20 minutes in there. He got a frisbee and 2 pieces of candy with his tickets and said he was ready to go back to the hotel. I was disappointed he didn't get to play laser tag and am sure the icy tundra outside may be why it was so empty on Saturday night. Probably wouldn't go back if we are in town again though...

upon arrival hostess Ashley greeted us, she was polite professional and accurate on giving us a seating time(25 minutes). Taking my mom to a mothers day dinner on Saturday since I live out of town we choose this place because the décor was unique and had pizza, I like to review pizza places. While waiting I realized that they had a picture with wording explaining the place. I was positioned above the waiting area seats so I stood to read it and me being 6'1" with 20/20 vision could not read the fine print, very pointless. Realizing my crotch is eye level with people sitting there, my parents, I decided to sit down. During our wait we had plenty of time to look over the menu and make our choices for what to order when we got to our table. A guy who was calling people to sit you couldn't hear and I had to translate to people how many were in the party he called out for. Finally when we were call the Hostess named Lupita called for our group and she was very polite and professional and you could understand her. She verified that the seat she was seating us at was okay and we confirmed. So we are at about 25 minutes now and know what we want and a very hungry. We sat for about 7 minutes before our server even came to the table, by now the dinner rush had dissolved and there were plenty of empty tables, so why so long? When she came we said we were ready to order also. She got our drink order of me and my wife for teas, my mom just wanted water and dad wanted a glass of wine. About another 5-10 minutes later me, my wife and mother got our drinks. while waiting for the drink me and dad talked about how and why I tip the way I do, on the service I receive. and my wife and mom used the restroom. The explanation for the wine taking so long was that they had to open a new bottle. After the waitress left I said they must've had someone run to the store to grab a bottle. So about 40 minutes after arriving my dad received his wine. Now we sit and talk for about 15 minutes and the waitress brigs us plates. These plates Must be for our order of Pizza which usually means the food should arrive soon. Now to let you know that we order a small mackenzie and a large fresh tomato basil to share, my mother ordered a caeser salad with anchovies, dad order sliders, my wife order lemon rosemary chicked and I got the blue onion bbq. Now that we have plates for the pizza my mother asked if the rest of us can have glasses of water. She brought water for those of us that wanted some and waited about 10 minutes when they brought my wifes pasta?. The should be the most complicated thing arrives first, shortly after my burger and dads sliders arrive. We ask about the salad, the most simple item, and she says they are backed up on the salads. We all are shocked, BACKED UP ON SALADS?, I can walk a five year old through making a caeser salad while working on a car!! So now we are at about 1 hour and 10 minutes not during a rush time. The rest of us start to eat, I bite into a burger that should be full of flavor and it taste like nothing and is dry. I see the other toppings are by the fries so I add them and take a second bite all I taste is pickle this time. I try the fries that were okay but decide I can't eat this... This is a first for me since I can usually eat food I don't like but I could not eat this. so after 5 minutes she brings my moms salad and I tell her that the burger is the worst thing I have eaten and con not eat it, I gave it back to her and said I hope the pizza is good. My dads sliders were dry and gross also, he only at one. The pizza came and all hope was lost after we tried it, the toppings were okay but the crust was some sort of pre bought bread that wasn't cooked properly and was glueish under the toppings. We let the management know how horrible everything was and that we would never come back. Our meal of what we ordered full cost was around 80 dollars, I could get better service and better quality food from other restaurants close by. Not worth the money or quality and like I have said this was a first that I actually had to refuse the food and send it back due to the quality. This place should not be in business and should close down but one of the good restaurants should go hire the hostesses and use their great service.

A friend from Pocatello, ID recommended Buddy's Italian. Being a New York Italian I had my doubts, but was proven wrong. Their garlic salad is really garlicky and large. The sauces were fresh and pasta plates were plentiful. I had the lunch special, chicken parmigiana. The chicken was thick, juicy and the breading was light and flavorful. The place has old time character, with a full bar. We were sorry we didn't have time to go back.

We were staying in Pocatello, with our dog in tow, so take out was a must. Ordered a basic pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. The crust was especially notable. Nice large parking lot for pick up. Courteous counter person, who I think also took our order. Close to the hotels off of Pocatello Creek Road and, I believe, they deliver!

Portneuf Valley Brewing

Reviewed By ROCtraveler30

While passing through town we enjoyed a delightful Saturday lunch here. The décor is post-industrial and a bit dark. Both my sandwich and my wife's salad were tasty and well made. The bread is apparently house-made from spent brewery grains. I enjoyed the well-balanced Belligerent Ass brown ale - which I had to have because of what some say is a passing resemblance. Our server was very personable, but perhaps a bit less prompt. Prices seemed reasonable.
