We were traveling through Meridian and needed to stop for lunch with our kids. This did not look like the safest place and we wondered if it would be clean. We walked in and were so very kindly greeted by a lady named Tomeka. I seldom pay attention to names and go out of my way to fill out online surveys but I did it for this PIzza Hut just to be sure her manager knew we were so well taken care of. The buffet was hot and fresh. Best cinnamon sticks we'd ever had at a pizza hut! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean.

We took the grandkids there for the lunch buffet, and they didn't see a pizza that they liked. Our nice waitress let us know that we could ask for the types they liked. They were very satisfied customers! There was a little mix-up with the dessert not being available, but the substituted brownies were a big hit, also.

This Subway is attached to a Pilot travel center. Getting in and out was difficult due to large number of cars waiting for gas. Staff pretty much yelled at my kid as she didn't immediately reply to the type of cheese she wanted. My bread was dry and crumbly. The lady making the sandwiches dropped the tray used for toasting the sandwiches. I think there are two pieces used for toasting. She left the metal part with a handle on the floor and picked up the piece that rests on the try. She proceeded to reuse that piece without cleaning it. The sandwich was somewhat protected by the paper it was on.

I have been going here since I was a very young child. We would rent movies from the next-door Blockbuster video (now a dentist's office) and get two pizza's and a salad. I'd be good for the whole weekend. The times have changed, and so has the pizza, but seriously, WHO CAN BEAT $5 HOT AND READY PIZZA'S? NO ONE!

The food was reasonably priced for a fast food place. It was the right portion size too. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and the food came out within about 5 minutes and was fresh tasting. Only wish they had more options with pepperoni. Also they have some to go salads that look good. However I got one and got sick afterwards. I dunno if it was the salad or something else, but I'd be suspicious. If not for that I'd say 4 stars, but because of the salad incident only 3 stars.

I am a NY Italian-American and I love to try pizza in each region I visit. By any standard, this is a decent pizza. Is it like NJ-NY-PA? No, but it certainly would hold up well in those regions. What really makes a difference is the high-quality ingredients and sticking to the recipe. Good Job!
