Amazing food with friendly staff. We were welcomed even if we did not have a reservation . Everthing is very good if you love seafood but also if your a pizza lover. A must go when your in Lampedusa

Nice range of Italian dishes as well as a good vegetarian cous cous. The latter not so strange regarding the fact that the North African coast is nearer than any part of Italy. The beach across the road is worth a visit as well.

La struttura ha una grotta naturale interna adoperata dai vecchi pescatori isolani come ricovero di attrezzature da pesca, ed una veranda sul porto di Lampedusa dove poter cenare.

Su consiglio di vicini di camera, abbiamo provato la pizza al naviglio. à stata una bella sorpresa in quanto mi è stata portata una pizza degna del suo nome! Impasto perfetto, con il classico cornicione croccante fuori e morbido dentro! Miriade di ingredienti di qualità come condimento. Eccezionale! Servizio molto cordiale e solare, peccato che per la pizza ci sono voluti 30 minuti abbondanti (ristorante non pieno). Questa è l'unica peculiarità che mi ha fatto mettere 4 stelle al posto che 5!

I don't know why Da Nicola isn't in the top 5 restaurants in Lampedusa. We went a few times and were always happy! It definitely has the best pizza on he island by far but the fish was also very good. It is quite far out of town, near isola dei conigli but well worth the drive. It is quite basic but had a lovely warm atmosphere and is always bustling with locals. Definitely worth a visit!

A local suggested me to go to Ciccio's to taste some really good food, he also recommended the roast chicken. Not only they serve/prepare as take away the best roast chicken ever but they offers also a huge variety of Sicilian food, Palermo style like crocchette, panelle and pizza. You can also choose to fill your Chicken roast box with delicious roasted or fried potatoes. All at affordable price (10.00⬠all included)

Was at Voscenza in May 2013 while visiting Lampedusa and the restaurant staff were kind enough to prepare some pretty nice dishes, among which a tasty Pasta Alla Norma (even though was not on the menu).At the end the waiter offered us some pistacchio sweets and nice traditional drinks. If I'd return to Lampedusa I would certainly return here and not only ask for some more Pasta Alla Norma but especially would try some more of the great seafood specialties this island has to offer!

Il locale è in zona porto vecchio e ha una piacevole ed ampia terrazza (un po' in stile greco) che affaccia sul mare. La sua particolarità è l'aperipizza (mare 20 euro a persona, terra 15 euro a persona). I cocktail sono davvero buoni e ricercati (1 è compreso nel prezzo sopra) e anche la pala pizza è fragrante e leggera. I gusti li sceglie il pizzaiolo per cui bisogna fidarsi ;)Concluso la recensione con una nota di merito per il cameriere: gentilissimo e davvero disponibile. E' un piacere essere accolti da persone così!

I've been in Lampedusa at the beginning of March when most of restaurants/pizzerie are still closed. However I had the opportunity to try a few places for pizza. Papa Doc offers the best pizza: locally produced ingredients, slow raised pizza dough, great choice of toppings.Pizza is mainly for take away but it is possible to eat in as tables indoor and outdoor are available for customers. Drinks, including beers, are also available.
