Excellent Italian beef sandwich and good homemade fries served in a cone! Just wish you didn't have to stand in line to order and menu on a chalk board. They do bring your food to your table.

Had some take away. Loaded Supreme pizza was so yummy with crispy bacon, mushroom and ground beef. It was a tasty experience and I did not expect to have such amizing pizza in Griffith.

One would think that a restaurant with pizza in its name would put more concern into their...pizza. We've truly enjoyed their fantastic beef delux sandwiches for a long time. Order them with mozzarella and extra sauce (the beef/tomato-ish juice), or they'll be a lil dry. Order 'em delux and they come with crinkle fries (if you get even more sauce, pour it on the fries). We've repeatedly tried their pizza, and as inconsistent as it is, it's consistently bewildering why the doughy stuff under the topping (usually called crust) is a paper-thin soggy mess. We've tried crispy crust, and only the outer edges get crispy. If you cannot pick up a piece of pizza because it has no crust supporting it, it's something other than pizza. Now, in all fairness, the place has been a local favorite for many people for...ever, and I've heard lots of positive comments about their pasta, sandwiches, and sides. Funny...never about their pizza. Even still, they sell a lot of 'em, so perhaps there's a population of soggy-bottom pizza lovers out there.

If you are old enough to remember the original John's Pizza in Calumet City, you will enjoy the pizza here. The crumbled sausage is the "signature" of their pizzas. If you are in the area and want a delicious Italian pizza, stop by and give John's a try.

Food just has dissipated in quality since they have been in this location. Pizzas are not to my taste at all, and the dinners have decreased in quality as well. Soups are apparently no longer homemade, and I get tired of plucking brown lettuce from my salad.Entrees are far from the glory days of this establishment.

I never knew this place existed until a friend suggested it. You do have to look for it. A 7â personal pizza was perfect for each family member with leftovers too. All the ingredients were fresh and delicious! This place is essentially a pizza Subway! We will return! Staff was helpful and friendly for newcomers. We had a short wait for our brick fire goodness.

Came here for my work party on a Saturday in January. The room was a nice size and our server was friendly. The food was good, and came out hot. Since I wasn't buying the food, we ate chicken strips, roast beef and potatoes.

Yes, three stars. That's honest. This is a family friendly pizza joint. The portions are generous, the pizza wonderful. I unconditionally recommend it, but ... It's still a comfort food family friendly pizza joint. Enjoy it.

I liked this place 2 years ago. Now the menu is drastically shortened. We had a birthday party and were seated among gambling tables and a corner arcade. Unbelievably cramped. Would be a fun place to get snockered and hang out, I suppose. Beers were skimpy and improperly presented. "Long Island Tea" was a tiny drink with ingredients missing. Pizza had a great mix of toppings with generous cheese but the "crust" was just a big wad of mush. Hamburger was impossible to pick up or handle, a bunch of food randomly dumped in a basket. Jumbo order of onion rings was FOUR ONION RINGS. Fancy-sounding tossed salad was really just a bowl of lettuce. Not going back unless forced.

Decent beer selection, wide variety of sandwiches, appetizers, and salads, and premium specialty pizzas cooked to perfection....one word- YUM. If you are a pesto and veggie lover, they have a pizza called Magic Potion that's amazing. It traditionally comes with sausage, but my mom doesn't eat meat, so she orders the pizza without the sausage every time we go. It is so dang good....great. Now I'm hungry. Hahaha, well at least I know what I am doing for dinner tonight!
