The place serves food and drinks.The food (if you do not take junk food as chips etc) is scares both for quality and for quantity, given the prices.The boos are good. Not vast but good selection of beers from different regions.So I agree with some of previous comments here that the place is better for drinking rather that eating a proper meal.TV screens to watch Olympics for instance and have a good drink with friends.Prices of drinks are average, food is too expensive for what you get.The waiters are really good looking!

We visited this restaurant 2 or 3 times during our ten day stay in this area, trying various foods- pizza, pasta and steak. All were lovely, and the fillet steak was particularly great as well as very reasonably priced. It comes with a pepper sauce all over it, which I didn't mind, but if you're not sure, ask for it on the side! The local red wine is also a delight and half the price of a decent bottle back in the UK.

Visited this restaurant again this year, while on holiday. The food is great. We went for lunch this time and were not disappointed. It is a bit away from the main squares but it is well worth a visit. The prices are also very reasonable.I would highly recommend the pizza. The pizza is absolutely brilliant. We will definitely return.

We got there by accident, but after that we ate there each night. Top restaurant, gourmet food, with exceptional service. The fish dishes are excellent, I liked the octopus with spicy sauce. Also the pizza is made in forno al legno, so it is very tasty. Congrats!!

This was the second stop on our November Cattolica trip. L'Anfora was recommended by the hotel reception where we were staying. Good impression from the outside and quite busy with couples and family groupes. After we had been brought to our table, it was only a couple of minutes and the restaurant manager was there to take our order. We had used the italian language as best we could and the manager spoke carefully and slowly so that we could understand his explanation of several items on the menu. The drinks came quickly and we were all set for a nice evening. It did also not take too long until my wife's meal arrived. Then we waited. Very unusual for Italy. And we waited while my wife's meal got cooler. Then my vegetables arrived. And we waited. After several minutes, my wife had started her meal, the manager, having noticed our predicament, sent a waiter over who explained that it would take some minutes before my lamb was ready. Here I gave him the vegetables and asked him to keep them warm. Some minutes later the whole meal arrived, my wife had already eaten half her meal and our evening was already destroyed. My wife's meal was a local pasta speciality: not tasty, with a strange consistency. My meal was now part cool, part burnt and partly missed flavour. We must have hit a bad night. It is also frustrating when you try your best to speak their language and the waiter (not the manager) insists on using his not much better, or even worse, English.

The restaurant is in a really great position with tables right on the sea!The food is excellent and really worth every penny given the really abundant portion sizes.The staff was very well organized even when the restaurant started to fill up(and for a good reason).The desserts were also very good and really complimented the whole meal.I will definitely recommend this restaurant and would surely come back if I were to travel here again:)

We tried to review this restaurant last summer, but TA wouldnât recognise it as a new restaurant! Previously it was a very tired gelateria! After many years of service Rosie and her team left Lo Squero and gambled everything on this venture... The owners of Hotel Alexander recommended it and booked us one of the outside tables facing the marina... The experience from beginning to end was wonderful... Weâll let our pictures do the talking... it was so good we went twice... and on both occasions people were hovering to grab our table as we left..
