My son and me felt like a hearty pizza after a long week, and we chose the place behind the cinema. To put it in a nutshell: I will not do it again. When I opened the box at home, I discovered a burnt piece of dough. I know there may be different opinions on what is considered 'burnt', but this one should have never ended up on a plate.

Our local friends recommended this restaurant and we were very pleased with our experience. It was too chilly for outside seating (I would love to do this in the summer) so instead, we got a table near a window where we could look at the water. It was quite relaxing.Service was good and the waiter's wine recommendation was spot on.. My penne arrabbiata was delicious and I enjoyed the grappa that came at the end of the meal.

Gemütlich eingerichtet empfängt einen das freundliche Personal des Rosaio. Die Speisekarte bietet jedem etwas und ist vielfältig. Das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sowohl das Carpaccio als auch das Rumpsteak waren schmackhaft und von sehr guter Qualität.

It was barely the only restaurant in Schmöckwitz and it's really nice. I believe an Italian family run the place. The food is simple but tasty, portions is big. It's hard to find a place with good Italian food anywhere in the world. This one is really good.We tried beef, trout, salmon, minestrone, tiramisu - all is great. I also saw how they make pizza and I believe it is excellent as well.
