This is a large bustling local restaurant with outdoor as well as indoor seating. There is a wide-ranging menu but come here for the pizza, it is delicious, crispy and chewy. Wine list is just ok, I would bring my own bottle. Loved the local flavor.

This place is very everyday-Italian in the meaning that it´s noisy, has too bright lamps and is situated right by a street, but the food and wine is great and inexpensive. Great place for young poeple and families with children. For around 10 euro a person the whole familiy can have both food and drinks.

Our local guide, Luca, told us about Pizza and Company, as his go to place for take out pizza and that they have a large, family size pizza, where you can have different toppings on the four quarters. It sounded like just what we needed after a satisfying day of touring, when we felt like eating and relaxing in our villa. We were able to order on the phone and then drive over to Capannoli nearby to pick it up. We were able to park on the street close by and run in to pick it up. The pizza was great, better than pizza we'd had at a closer pizzeria.

This restaurant has over the 25 years we have been using it has grown from a superb takeaway into a very nice, casual restaurant, open from 16.00 to 21.00 only with fantastic pizza, really a typical pizza from Naples, in that it is thicker than a normal tuscan pizza but what a flavour!Same staff there now as in the late 1980's.It is very cheap too! Great for families.Note that it is more usually called Pizza Cecina & most of the signs to it say that, in fact the full name is Lalo Pizza Cecina

Upon recommendation of our hotel, we went to this restaurant on our first night in Ponsacco, and we returned every night of our stay there - need I say more ?Excellent pizza, great spaghetti alle vongole, deicious risotto, fresh fish.... no exception, everything was perfect! Our last night in Tuscany we had dinner at Da Carlo. It is clearly a favorite of the locals. It is a quaint restaurant that is actually fairly large inside. Our waitress was fantastic. She was very attentive and friendly. We had both a pasta and steak meals. Both were fantastic. The wine selection by the glass was really good and they have severval beers, some on draft. It was a very relaxing dinning experience and we throughly enjoyed the restaurant - great food and service. We would recommend.

Absolutely LOVED every meal we had here. It possessed exactly the warm and local feel we were looking for. Started our first of 3 evenings asking the main host (son of owner) to choose for us and we were NOT disappointed. The attention to detail, the attentiveness of the staff on all levels, the quality of the food was top-shelf. Had a chance to meet the owner on the 2nd evening and took a little peek into the kitchen area where he showed us the wood fired oven and how he made steaks and vegetables transform into masterpieces. Simple items like soup were about as tasty as we've ever had. Selections of wine for pairing available and if you're lucky, special vegetables from the owner's garden may show up unexpectedly. OH! Ask for the pork selection that turns out incredibly tasty due to the foraging in the local forests (truffles perhaps?) it's so amazing it doesn't even taste like pork!
