Very nice place with nice staff, flexible menu. I really liked the side dishes, they change it according to the season, i should try it in summer time. Good value for good food!

We eaten Lebanese food many times over a number of years....and this restaurant does not do the food any justice. It was embarrassing to us, as I chose the restaurant and some of our group had never tried Lebanese cuisine. The food we were served simply lacked flavour and was a poor imitation of the authentic cuisine. For example, when we asked for chilli sauce, we were offered tomato sauce or Tabasco sauce. When we asked if they had anything 'homemade', the manager (owner?) simply mixed the two together. In particular, the meat dishes were disappointing. Further, we have never left a Lebanese restaurant without feeling absolutely stuffed. On this occasion, we left still feeling hungry. Even though the restaurant was very quiet (even on a Saturday evening), the service was just 'ok', but nothing better.Good evening, I read your opinion with surprise. If you didn't like it, I can understand everyone has different tastes (and it also depends on the restaurants where you usually eat). But to say that it is not Lebanese, I do not agree and this is justified by the rest of the opinions on Tripadvisor, knowing that the chef who is the boss is a Lebanese who graduated from the Lebanese hotel school and who has been cooking Lebanese food for thirty years. About the tomato sauce, I think you are mixing the specialities because you asked us for "harissa" which is a Maghreb speciality and not Lebanese. So when the boss prepared the spicy tomato sauce for you, it was to answer your request and not to say no. That's why this sauce was improvised because it's not part of our specialty (harissa). Anyway, having seen your account I understand better...

I need not add too much to the recent reviews. Suffice to say the host is genial and the food excellent. But be warned the portions are large. I ordered the couscous with lamb, chicken and meatball little imagining that the meat would be a whole lamb shank, a chicken thigh and the meatball on a vast plate of couscous. And then he added a huge bowl of vegetables in broth. Seriously it was a meal for 2. I seemed to hardly make a dent in the couscous and was nowhere near finishing the vegetables. I do not profess to be an expert on North African cuisine but the food, and the entire evening was a delight.

This Afghan restaurant is a really unique experience for dining. The dishes are so flavoursome and whether you choose chicken, lamb or fish, as we did, each is cooked to perfection. We had Afghan cake and homemade banana ice cream, which was like frozen bananas for dessert which was truly wonderful. A must visit for a totally different taste.

We came here searching for a tasty vegetarian (or at least pescatarian) meal; while we found that, we also found the best meal weâve had in France! Weâre still looking for excuses to return to Nice just to eat here again.We started our wonderful dinner with an order of vegetable samosas, very good, and a delicious bottle of rosé wine from Saint-Tropez. Service was excellent and our food came out promptly.For the main course, we had Salmon Tikka, which came with regular rice, and Vegetable Korma. We ordered Kashmiri Rice to go with the korma; that was our best decision of the night, short of coming in here in the first place. The Kashmiri Rice was amazing, perfectly seasoned and mixed with pieces of dried papaya and other fruits. It was tender and went wonderfully with both the korma and salmon, just as we imagine it would go well with most of the rest of the menu. The vegetable korma was also quite nice in itself, served with whole cashews in the sauce and sliced almonds to garnish. The salmon was also wonderfully seasoned, served with lemon slices over the dry spices and onions. Our food was reasonably priced (actually phenomenally priced for a European tourist district, of all places) and the staff were excited to share it with us. We even called the manager over to tell him how amazing everything was and to give our compliments to the chef. This restaurant simply cannot be missed; stop in if you are anywhere nearby. We do recommend getting there early for dinner, as dinner service fills up quickly; however, even if you have to wait for a table, it is absolutely worth waiting for.
