Midpoint Istanbul Fine Dining

In the same space and under the same ownership as the former Istanbul Cafe, Midpoint has been totally renovated and freshened. The dining area is bright and modern and stylish. They've added an outdoor seating section, and the menu is totally revamped. All our food, especially the mezze plate to start, was exquisite. Convenient parking lot right next door, too.

Good is great, BUT 1. Foods and drinks were served with paper cups and paper plates.... for dining in?....2. No customer service (so regret that I even tipped...)3. Bathrooms are disgusting... wanted to throw up everything that we ate right after we went to the bathrooms.... (we even threw away the left over, we couldn't even trust the food any more...)Would never come back to this restaurant again, not even for take out...

We managed to taste 4 of the dips, the lentil soup, the merguez plate, and the falafel plate, and they were all delicious. The fresh hot pita kept coming, and was the perfect accompaniment. The service was friendly, attentive, and skilled. We didn't get to the "pizzas", but if they are as good as the other dishes, the only challenge would be to choose the toppings!
