Great place for large group of work colleagues to meet up for breakfast. Large choice of dishes to select from for meat eaters and veggies. Service was excellent, food was delicious and drinks were exactly as expected. Atmospheric and friendly. A great way to start the day.

Booked a table for 6 via open table and this simply hadn’t gone through to the venue and it seemed like they were confused by this.A table was found for us which was big enough and comfortable. The waitress was very polite and there were menus on the table, along for some reason with some cheap sombrero hats to remind us we are in a Mexican themed restaurant. This adds nothing. The starters were to share and the plate of £10 nachos wasn’t really worth that money, I’ve been to many places where £10 buys you man more nachos. The meat platter starter was acceptable and everyone got a good share of meat. Unknown why there were two British bread rolls on the Mexican platter. For my main meal I didn’t fancy anything Mexican themed and spicy so open for a rib eye steak, unfortunately they didn’t have any of this and therefore I then swapped for the sirloin and upgraded to surf and turf. When this arrived it looked great. The enjoyment of my particular meal ended there. Having ordered the steak blue this meat was clearly medium or medium rare at the best. The meat was relatively tasty but very dry, no juice of any sort cane out of the meat. The prawns were small and again over cooked to be reminiscent of small rubber washers with some caramelisation. The fries were ok but went cold quickly. The benefits I found were that someone at some point had purchased in some really nice steak from a good butcher. For £20 I can go and buy my own steak and cook it to my liking. Eating here also meant I didn’t have to stack my own dishwasher at home but beyond this there’s little of merit.Poor rating as actually the company was good and we had a relative enjoyable experience and the beer isn’t too pricey.

We had two hours to kill with our grandson before picking the granddaughter up and always like to take him somewhere different. I had read the reviews (only tow so far strangely) and seen Facebook shares by friends so thought we would give it a try.Just off the main street and a car park nearby so quite handy. Maybe we had wrongly assumed this was like a café but there's just around 8-10 tall stools with seating against a bar in the window. The menu is an unusual mix of desserts and ice creams with sub type sandwiches. Our grandson went of chocolate waffles which we greatly enjoyed severed in a paper bowl. We were going to eat but there wasn't really anything plain or light for my partner so we just had a coffee which was just average - it was served in a take away cup not to everyone's taste. Somehow my grandson (he's six) also managed a chocolate ice cream - the ice cream is Fredericks (plenty of choice) and you cannot go wrong with their ice cream. So maybe great for kids desserts but maybe be not for those accompanying themHello Sam, we appreciate the feedback you have given us and were sure your grandson enjoyed the fredericks! Who doesn't!? Maybe next time you can come and try our fresh suburrito menu rather than the dessert side. We appreciate the size and layout of the building it is problematic when everyone is queuing, and although we are a takeaway concept our packaging has changed to accommodate peoples preferences! We are more Facebook based at the moment but will be pushing the Trip Advisor more seeing how popular The Wobbly Cow has become throughout 2018.
