On the road from Ann Arbor to Chicago it started to snow a little heavily so we decided to stop for lunch. Watervliet is a little town just of the freeway with a nice main street. The menu was pretty extensive I had a Torta Especial with beef milanesa, ham and avocado. My wife had a tostada with chicken. Great Hibiscus (jamaica) aqua Fresca and, as the title of this review says, homemade ice cream we had chocolate and caramel. Both were really good and worth a trip back.

I had the dollar item menu items and they are worth a try. The chip burrito and a few other item were nice without filling. Free refills on the soda and water are worth it.

We have Many Mexican restaurants in our home town, but are Not Authentic.This is the second time we have ate here while in town and I say it is one of the Best Authentic Mexican restaurants I have ever been to, except when I go to ElPaso Texas...Great Meal and always a pleasure to eat here! Great staff too!!
