This isn't a standalone Taco Bell. It's a combined concept with KFC, and it is a poor example of both. The restaurant is badly managed, with serious quality control problems. This is the only fast-food place I have ever heard of that routinely keeps people waiting to place their order at the drive through. Sure, you wait in line to place the order, but here, once you are at the spot to place your order, you wait, and wait, and wait and wait. Ridiculous.Drive-through order accuracy is poor...if you have a big order, something will be missing. They are frequently "out" of menu items. Employees are sweet but poorly trained. Despite a recent makeover, the dining room is always a mess.

Friends took us here for lunch and we enjoyed it enough to return another day for dinner. At lunch, I ordered the enchilada special, served with rice and a taco. The chicken enchilada was good, the taco (ground beef) didn't have much flavor. Spouse ordered the steak fajitas both times. He enjoyed them, lots of lean meat, they are served with two flour tortillas and typical toppings. It would be great if they served three tortillas as there's enough meat for three. For our second visit, I ordered a side of rice and beans which were tasty and more than enough for a meal. The chips and salsa are very good, chips served warm.Staff is very friendly, I did have a problem with my rice and they were very quick to resolve it and very apologetic.Seems that they really care that you have a good experience. We will dine here again.

Average food, poor service but the real kicker was the extra $2.00 tip they added to my debit card. We ordered the Puerto Nuevo fajitas for two, came with beef, chicken, shrimp, and the tenderest pork I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Service was excellent and the prices were extremely reasonable. If we are ever back in Boone, we will definitely come back.

This was my second visit and I wanted to pick up my takeout order. Called the restaurant twice to order (about 5:30 p.m. -Saturday night) and received a message âunable to take your call...please try again laterâ....both times.Then, I decided to order online....it was now 5:35...placed the order for two Jumbo Shrimp Quesadilla....earliest time for pick up was 6:45.Got to the restaurant..parking lot packed, all tables and booths full a few waiting to get seated, some picking up take out. I entered the restaurant at 6:30 (15 minutes earlier than indicated). When I approached the hostess/cashier she was remarkably cool, calm, friendly in the midst of âorganized chaos â. About 12 - 14 take out bags were stacked up ready for pick up. I showed her my order number, she checked the computer...smiled and said oh yes, your order is ready!The food is well above average, prices are extremely reasonable...guess that is why you should be prepared to wait....for take out pick up, for seating at the restaurant and for being able to get an order placed.Bottom line....if you have the time and patience....well worth the wait.

This one one of my boyfriend's favorite hangouts when he was a student at App State, and he was so excited to show it to me. While the food was mostly the same, he was very disappointed at the "remodel," where they took away the character and left the old divey interior. It's a shame that so much of the artwork is gone. He was also extremely bummed that they replaced the toys for identifying your order with actual table numbers. It lost a lot of the cool quirks that made it unique. However, the food is good, and I guess that's most important.

We really enjoyed our recent lunch at Dos. Service here is always excellent. The lunch specials are a great deal. They have very good fresh-made traditional "limonade", horchata and of course, Margaritas. Dinner is great also, but we're usually in the area at lunchtime.
