We first became aware of Las Palmas on TripAdvisor. They seem to be very successful and enjoy a steady following. They remodeled the restaurant earlier this year making it more light and open without losing the authentic south of the boarder ambiance. Their menu is huge and more importantly their food is very good with generous portions. Open for lunch and dinner. You won't be disappointed.

When we arrived I asked Cesar to recommend an entrée. He suggested the chicken mole. It was fantastic! The food, the service, the atmosphere and the prices are always the best. A great place to eat in Shelton.I highly recommend the El Guadalajara!

Same good food, but prices are higher. One person, no alcohol and my bill was $21.19, with automatic 18% gratuity. Got charged $4.00 for open food? Is that chips? Maybe our group needs to find somewhere else to eat.

I waited for 12 minutes standing in front of the entire staff as other orders were filled. i finally said were is my order, OH, we lost it, do you have a receipt , I have been standing here for minutes and the girl who took my order asked me is i had my receipt . Why it is still in my hand!!!! My order was made soon after, i got a "sorry about that" from another employee. I contacted TACO BELL and explained what happened and they never responded.
