A Savannah favorite for 15 years, now open in Richmond Hill!
Went in for a slightly early dinner, around 5:00pm. Seated immediately and the server was there right away. Brought the drinks quickly along with chips and salsa. Ordered an appetizer that came out in about five minutes, jalapeno poppers. These were served with a side of sour cream and diced tomatoes, separate. Never tried this way but really made them a lot better than just plain. All the dishes were great; the jalapeño combo plate, taco truck carne asada tacos, and jalapeño fajitas. The texas margarita was fantastic, so smooth and falvorful. Will definetly go back. Tried El Potro a couple of months and was not at all happy, see my review on that one. Server was very friendly and attentive.

Umm, where to begin? The food was okay. The guacamole was REALLY awesome, creamy and flavorful! However, waiter could not understand us. So I pointed to items in menu/pic's. Food very sub par. No music, quiet environment. One pic on wall. Bland atmosphere. VERY bland. Mojito special and they did not have the ingredients to make any at 7 p.m.

This place plays straight out of the american mexican restaurant playbook. Everything was fine, but nothing to make this place stand out. We came after a high school football game, about 10:10pm on a Friday night and they warned us that they close at 10:30pm. Really, on a Friday night? They did their best to accommodate us, but really, they all had closing on their mind. The food was average, no complaints. This is a good standby restaurant...not much more.
