Reviews on Mexican food in La Grande, Oregon, United States. La Grande /ləˈɡrænd/ is a city in Union County, Oregon, United States. Originally named "Brownsville," it was forced to change its name because that name was being used for a city in Linn County. This is a "McDonalds" version of Mexican food. Sorry, but it's bland in my opinion compared to what I've eaten in San Diego, Los Angeles and Yuma,Az. If you need Mexican food so bad you're gonna pass out, stop in here it will keep you alive. Like rations in the forest, it will do the job but you may not enjoy it.

The dine in portion is very slow. I ordered one bean burrito and it took over 20 minutes with only 2 orders in front of me. I did notice that the drive thru was what they were concentrating on as they were able to get order after order out on it. I think many who ordered after me. If you are in a hurry go somewhere else. As for the food it is standard taco bell and the counter person is friendly.

We've always liked this place, the people running it are great, they are expanding, which is nice and it will be GREAT when they are finally done! They have a nice selection of Mexican and South American foods, have really good salsa and guacamole, serve good, imported beers and make fun mixed drinks. Good place for a nice group meal or food with friends.

This is an outstanding and affordable place. My partner and I both had the Chilaquiles, a dish I rarely see in Mexican places in the U.S. This was an excellent version. The young woman who was working the counter told me that before she started working there she had never heard of chilaquiles, "and now it's my favorite dish". Me too.
