Salsa VERY watered down. No flavor. Free doesn't mean good. Drinks lacked enough tequila, and I had a double. Refried beans, oh come on, bean soup with no flavor. Rice, REALLY, three days old and no flavor. Go buy a box of Zattarains if you can't make it yourself. Burrito, REALLY, the enchilada was bigger and better. Service was excellent however but that doesn't make up for bad food.

Nice little Mexican place with good prices. Ate dinner with a few co-workers after checking into the hotel for business (Hampton Inn). Restaurant was convenient and seated immediately (7pm on a Tuesday night). The menu was extensive, but i went with the Shrimp, Chicken, and Steak Fajitas. The portion and food were good. I did have to order an extra order of flour tortillas because they give you a lot to fill the fajiata's, but only 2 tortillas .Spend $16 on a Fajita dinner, should get a little more than 2 flour tortillas with that.I ordered a Chipotle Margarita, 32 oz large size. The drink was good. I like a little spice and it had the right amount of spice for the drink.The restaurant also does table side freshly made guacamole. I've never had guac made at the table, but it was very good, and a nice little entertainment.There are not a lot of places to eat in Dahlgren, but if you are in the area on business or for other reasons you should definitely check it out. If my business takes me back to the area I'll definitely eat here again.

The food is fresh but just ok. It's a tiny place that fills up quickly - I think there are maybe half a dozen tables inside. The food isn't particularly memorable, but Soup & Taco is a perfectly acceptable place for a quick bite or to have lunch with a friend.

El Patron was a long time coming to South Stafford... the banner went up a over year ago and the restaurant finally opened this past fall. We have made several visits. Good service, good food, good drinks, good prices. Some items I recommend: Lunch Fajitas (a LOT of fajita for a very good price), the Shrimp Fajitas, the Fajita Burritos, Super Burritos (any filling). The frozen margaritas are excellent. One suggestion - if you like sour cream on your dinner item, ask for extra, as the regular amount is a little skimpy (and I HAVE to have sour cream on my fajitas). The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend El Patron to folks in the Fredericksburg area.
