Coco Mojo

Coco Mojo's is all about fun, great atmosphere and having a fantastic time. Located just a stone throw away from the beach opposite the tennis courts. The owner and chef has operated and cooked all around the world and has operated restaurants in Palm Cov

This restaurant was an absolute gem. Offering all sorts of foods, from South American to Australian we had a good time choosing and eating our meals, which were absolutely delicious and fresh. Although this place is a bit off the path, in a residential Clifton Beach area, it’s great and can only recommend.

Booked a table here as thought it would have a good vibe, staff seemed to have zero idea what they were doing, very confused. We were second ones there with 2 kids who were tired from full day so we ordered immediately, kids meal came out in 15mins which was good but after another 40mins of waiting for our meals I asked to get takeaway, they said it was because it was so busy but we were second order of the night. They did give us a discount on the food which was appreciated, had to walk 10mins home with the food which was not ideal but needed to get kids to bed, by the time we ate food was not in best state but it actually tasted pretty good, think it would have been great if service was right.Need to have properly trained staff not just random backpackers who have zero care factor.

Cactus Mexican Restaurant & Bar

The restaurant has a very nice location, with the beach/sea at the opposite side of the street. The menu looks good too, but what was very disappointing is to first hear this is table available (while some only needed to be cleaned), and after a while being promised a table within 10 minutes. We waited, and that was a perfect summary for the rest of the evening. We ordered, and had to wait +1 hour before the food was served. No tortilla chips to ease the waittime, no nothing! The food was not bad, but not great either. Portions were not excessive (to put it diplomatically). There are plenty of other restaurants in this area, I will not come back to this one.

This is a pretty new restaurant cafe. Started from humble beginnings. Improving rapidly. Colourful and friendly. Nice relaxing vibe in the heart of the old Kuranda markets. No ill chosen music here that suits the staff more than it does the cafe theme or its customers’ comfort. Gentle, laid back samba grooves while you tuck in to a variety of yummy South American dishes. Great food. Excellent vibe. First class hospitality service. And warm hearted smiles! One point off for the coffee. It was okay but a bit to go. But if the food and developing atmosphere is anything to go by. Five stars soon! Estupendo!
