Lytham St Annes is a most unusual place. It is a small town, but it is crammed full of eating places. Restaurants and cafes are everywhere and they are always full of customers. Gusto is an Italian restaurant. The service was prompt and the food was okay. But the portions were small. I had the burger and fries which looked like burger and fries you would get anywhere else, but shrunk down a couple of sizes. I wouldn't go again. Was stopping by Preston for business and decided to have a look for somewhere to have a nice dinner. This place is definitely hit the spot, ambience is nice, homely and friendly staff. Most importantly the food was nice, I ordered the sea bass. The cheese cake was a bit too soft for my like felt like it was melting. Apart from was lovely!

Being in Saint Anneâs Once again I decided to Go back to my favorite Greek restaurant the Greek flame. The original owner unfortunately is no longer with us but the food is definitely up to par and I think he would be pleased with that. My one complaint is that they have an early bird special and itâs on a separate menu. I have dined twice in the last few weeks, the first time with friends the second time alone. Neither time was the early bird menu in the regular menu or offered voluntarily. Because my friends and I were aware of this menu we requested it however, we did notice that the menu was never offered to anyone else. I went this evening by myself and low and behold the early bird menu was not in the menu again I requested it and was given immediately. My point is that unless you know that the restaurant has This menu you do not have a choice. Now if these fellas really donât want to offer this menu then do away with it, Because keeping it a secret is totally out of order.

Absolutely fabulous food. We had the maze between 3 and it was brilliant. Meat was moist and succulent and so flavoursome. The rice was beautiful and the staff was so attentive without being over bearing. I would eat here everyday if I could afford it and it meant my waistline wouldnât suffer!!

An absolute delightful place to eat.Fantastic food cooked to perfection and served by the most friendly staff you could wish for.We were only staying for one night in Lytham and this was a gem.If we lived closer we would use regularly.Well recommended.

Just chose to visit after passing by and we werenât let down. Nice inviting atmosphere by both the host and barman/waiter. The burrata cheese starter, although the most expensive starter, is understandably so since the flavour and texture was amazing. Even the waiter strike up a conversation over how he enjoys it as-well, you donât get that friendliness in many places. Felt just like Italy. Everyone chose to have pasta dishes which were all to different tastes and done to a very high standard. Very talented team of Italian chefs behind the scenes. Will definitely be returning.

Well what a stunning building that someone has spent alot of money on to only let staff that literally need to change profession. Service couldn't get any slower, no drink for 15 minutes, we ended up walking out and not having our dessert as we waited that long for but nobody offered any apology, the owner really needs to look at new management, tip to anyone try Spread Eagle at Mellor and you'll never return to Lytham againGood morning,I'm sorry to hear you didn't have a very good experience when you visited us. This is probably our 8th meal at Ego, Lytham. Staff are very friendly. Cocktails, 2 for 1, were delish. We had the Cosmopolitan, Pina Colada and Strawberry Daiquiri. Mains were yummy altho I would say my son's medium steak was more rare than it should have been but he still enjoyed it. I had the Lemon Chicken Milanese which was lovely. Pudding was Sticky Toffee for 5 of us and Brownie for my daughter. All were amazing. And a 25% discount makes it even better. Went here for an early evening dinner as a group of 5 family members. The restaurant was almost empty, so we got excellent attention from the two waitresses. We ordered a range of starters to share and then various main courses. The starters arrived promptly and were delicious. Main courses were a good size but not over facing. We finished off with shared deserts. By the time we were ready to leave, the restaurant was filling up and the two waitresses were rushed off their feet. Good value for money.
