I went to Vesuvio restaurant before my mariage in Puglia with family and friends (around 20 people). The pizza is good and the place is pretty cozy and attractive. The only negative point was the service. Waiters were more occupied in talking with each other than serving. Anybody speaks english. It is a pity because the place was a great potential

Just happened upon this place before hitting the beach. The tuna burger is something else. Friendly staff and a nice casual atmosphere. After reading the reviews our expectations were high & werenât met!! Although the food was reasonable...the service felt rushed & forced {bums on seats springs to mind} We will return to SAN Foca but wonât be eating here when we do!! Dear Samantha, we are sorry for the inconvenience and we truly hope you will come back at our restaurant to enjoy a relaxing dinner in San Foca.

I have been to this lovely place with some friens on a summery saturday evening.The atmosphere and the service were on spot. I had so many choices in between lots of proper local dishes but Valeria helped me out so easily undestarsing my needs.Starters were amazing, Frittura di mare was the best ever thanking to chef Antonio and the steak was somethingelse.I defo recommend this place for any sort of occasion as not just the food was perfect but also the staff was very prepared and proffesional.Don t forget to try amaro alle erbe at the end of your meal. Grazie mille Angolo di Gengi, we will be back soon :)

We were staying in the hotel that this restaurant is attached to for three nights and went here the first night. Lovely sitting outside in breeze The food was simply fantastic- every mouthful a delight. Wine also good and service from the head waiter just brilliant. Such a nice guy and looked after our every need. It was so good there we ate there the next two nights too and were not disappointed- this restaurant should be full every night as it is just perfect. Food is delicious but also so well presented and the chef is a really nice guy too. He came to check we were all happy and you can really tell he has pride in what he cooks. Amazing ! Visit this restaurant- you wonât be disappointed

We had such a lovely time! The atmosphere is great: we were sitting drinking watching the sunset, enjoying endless courses of fresh fish and drinking some good artisan beer. The music in the background is quite cool - a selection of super cool indy bands. The service was attentive (there were constantly waters coming around) and we also had along chat with the owner who is a super cool guy who knows about quality! The fish was just great. We had some raw fish followed by fried, steamed and grilled fish. The drinks were great. Prices are honest. If you can try also the locally made amaro - it was incredible. If you pass this area visit this place, you will have a good time. Plenty of choice, fresh and with a good service!

About restaurant... itâs awful. Waiters do not speak English almost at all, we used to show pictures in google to describe what we wanted. When we ordered dishes, waiter used to walk with them around the restaurant and were asking other guests if they ordered it...(in the breakfast same thing happened with our drinks). As well in the beggining we ordered tea, waiter forgot about it, than we repeated that we are still waiting for our tea, they made really stupid face like âWHAT?â. Food was good. Overall disappointed with restaurant service. During the breakfast used to describe many times what is Caffe Latte... still two times they brought something different ...

We ate there last night and had the pleasure of meeting at the chef. She is delightful and her cooking is so fabulous we booked again for our last night Otranto. My husbund had the swordfish with egg plant to die for and I had the tubettini with grouper which I dreamed about last night. They are lovely people and we cannot wait to return.
