We had booked a table at Moorish and were glad we did - not many tables filled when we arrived but the place was packed a short time later.We were seated to the very back of the restaurant, which we thought strange at the time but were grateful later as the noise level was pretty high to the front of the room.My husband and I shared some homemade bread with olive oil and dukkha to start and then followed with sumac and garlic marinated lamb strips, Berber spiced kangaroo with tomato jam, oven roasted marinated Bulgarian feta with chilli, garlic & oregano & seared local Spanish mackerel with fennel, chilli, grapefruit, olives & saffron dressing. We finished off with some hummus with pita bread. All excellent flavours. Wines on the dear side

So impressed with the food, staff and the view of the Cullen Bay Marina. Serves were very big and staff were super helpful. This is a family business and the owners are in the kitchen cooking beautiful Greek delicacies. It was busy so recommend you book. There are inside tables with aircon or tables on the deck overlooking the Marina. The staff were helpful in relation to my friendâs severe gluten allergy and had a pre prepared Gluten free menu. Highly recommend Yots.

Treat yourself to a variety of dishes and enjoy the laid back vibe. We are vegetarians and there was so much variety to choose from....and all complimentary. We have especially never tasted such savory falafel. For me it was like stepping into a family's dining room during a holiday... simultaneously at home feeling and very special. Darwin locals and travelers should all savor this taste of Syria here. Our favorite meal after 3 months in Australia!Thank you so much Stephanie Bowman for the review. The food was good, but a little oily and what I had was a little bland (goat cheese balls, trio dips) but was presented well on the plate. The atmosphere was also good mostly, however older staff (owners?) tended to gossip loudly at the counter and customers don't need to hear that. I guess that was maybe why a lot of patrons sat outside, there was a lot of inside and outside seating. Older staff also appeared very brusque to customers, younger staff much more friendly and customer focussed. Son(?) yelled out from kitchen repeatedly for mum, unprofessional. The drinks and overall pricing was good and this venue has the potential to be great.
