Mediterranean grilled food is becoming hugely popular, extremely fashionable. It and supposedly a healthier option than standard convenience foods. Ephesus stands out though and having eaten here on numerous occasions, we canât praise the food, staff and service enough. The staff could not be friendlier. You will always get a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble. They really want you to enjoy your experience. And the food? Itâs not complicated. Itâs well prepared. Itâs well presented. Full of fused flavours from the simple marinated meze to the house specialities. Try them all and enjoy them all. You will keep coming back. Oh and the banoffee pie - superb!

Having been to this restaurant in the past I knew that the food was great. However on this visit we were so disappointed. Starters took 45 minutes to arrive, main course was another hour later. These were not complicated dishes but the restaurant kitchen just wasn't coping. Staff kept disappearing. No apologies were made for the wait. When the dinners arrived they were good, apart from the fish dish which really was not worth the money.Couldn't face the wait for desserts we went to McDonald's and had mcflurries!!Probably won't be returning.

I had a recommendation from another restaurant to come here.Saturday lunch here was very pleasant indeed-interesting menu, great wine listI opted for crab to start- all fresh naturally- prawns to end. All excellent-good portions and well presented Definitely deserves a return visit soon!

Excellent service received from Sarah tonight. Food was delicious and timely. Atmosphere was relaxed and Sarah ensured that our whole table was looked after. She was especially helpful with the two children. All staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely evening..... we will all be back again soon.

My wife and I went to this restaurant for dinner and we were not disappointed.We started with a plate (for2) of mixed meze and we were most impressed, each one was fresh and delicious.For the main course my wife chose vegetarian Moussaka whilst I chose the meat (lamb) version. Both were of good standard.

We regularly visit this restaurant. However just when we thought things couldnât get better they have. The food is amazing. The staff are more than helpful. We always leave here happy. Would certainly recommend. New added feature they now have a singing chef and he is amazing. Well done Il Padrino. We will be back.

This restaurant is located in the stunning historic Corpus Christi hall.We keep coming back to this restaurant as we love the relaxed friendly service and it almost feels like we have been transported back to Spain. Unusually on this visit there was 1 member of staff who looked as though she really did not want to be there and barely raised a smile all evening. We chose Calamari and prawns in garlic for starters which came with complimentary bread and Aioli. All of the dishes were excellent and in particular the Calamari which was cooked to perfection with a super light almost Tempura style batter. This was followed by oxtail stew and a Spanish burger both of which tasted very nice but the presentation was a little disappointing as was the House red wine. To finish we had the cheese board which was excellent and came accompanied with a very tasty quince jelly and was followed by a portion of Churros and chocolate!We had a lovely evening and will return but will probably stick to the Tapas options and possibly the Paella that we have yet to try.

We visited for the first time, after finding the restaurant, walking around Maidstone previously. A really nice restaurant, with a good selection of starters,and mains. We decided on rice balls, and mussels for starters.Husband had the salmon, and i had the lamb shank for our main courses. There is a lovely wine list as well.Service was good and friendly. Would have loved to have stopped for pudding, liqueor coffee and a grappa for the other half, but it got too busy.
