If you are looking for an authentic italian experience, you are in the right place! Andrea and Paolo are the perfect hosts, they will make you feel at home, and the food is just amazing! There is great attention to details,it is informal but very clean and cozy, you can see why all the italian residents are recurring guests here, it is just like a piece of Italy in Playa del Carmen.Being neapolitan I can tell they have the best pizza I have ever eaten abroad, and their eggplant parmigiana is really tasty as well!Save some room at the end for their tiramisù and don't forget the limoncello!Going back tonight to try the seafood.

My wife and I have named this one of our favorite restaurants. This day I went solo for lunch. Having been here before I was familiar with their menu (I will posting pictures of their current offerings) and already knew what I wanted, The Arugula and Lettuce Salad. Plenty for a lunch on a warm Mexican day. It has of course, lettuce and arugula but also slices of dried apricots, sunflower seeds, julienne of beet root, and little balls of warm fried goat cheese and served with a zesty dressing. This salad rocks. Do yourself a favor, try this place you will be pleased that you did. In fact, invite me along. I will meet you there.

The cuisine at Oh Lala! Is a refreshing change from that of other, more conventional restaurants. Guests are treated like good old friends in a relaxing atmosphere coupled with personalized service and good food. Opened in January, 2011, by co-owners Geor
We have been vactioning in PDC for over 30 years and usually eat at local restaurants when not staying at an all-inclusive.I chose Oh Lala because it was my wife's 65th birthday. We started with the mussels and scallop appetizers and a Spanish red wine(aerates would have been nicer since the wine was young and needed at least an hour to open up)Main course were the rack of lamb and filet mignon,we are not big eaters at all,so took the left overs to the condo and had it for lunch. It was the best meal we ever ate in PDC and the service was impeccable.A delicious dessert was served compliment of the chef with a Happy 65th written on the plate.I have to add this is a very expensive restaurant compared to in any big city,so i think the prices are a bit high since i am sure the rent is nothing compared to NYC etc.I have no regrets about my visit,so if you can afford a meal there,go right ahead.

As a curry lover, and having found an Indian restaurant in Playa del carmen, thought we were in for a treat. Sadly not.Itâs plus point; air conditioning, so the experience was very comfortable.Atmosphere was dead (we were the only people in the restaurant, but there until 9.30pm) Service was over attentive, but understandable as we were the only people there. In terms of food, starters were ok, we had samosas. We had three each - which were nice but too filling.Curries - my advice to the owners is get your labelling right (or your cooks to meet the description) There were four main curries (we tried three)Tikka masala - which wasnât chicken tikka masala (the sauce was maybe an attempt to achieve that, the chicken was a plain breast) but it was too hot and way too salty.Goan - which was creamy, and sweet described as mild. Lamb cook well it must be said.Vindaloo - not at all hot, not even madras hot and very salty. My observation here is that at an attempt at a high class establishment why advertise a vindaloo (when most curry eaters would avoid a vindaloo) Madras would have been a better description , even then it didnât hit the mark. All the chicken curries came with three massive pieces of chicken (I can only think they were trying to be generous) Rated 11 on tripadvisor - this was poor, and possibly the worst curry I have had gone or abroad. I can see they are trying, but they would do well to find a real Indian chef.We thank you for your constructive criticism Coxyjs, since it is part of the philosophy that we seek every day in It Guilty, take into account the comments of all our customers to always improve. We hope you visit us again and completely change your opinion.Your friends from It Guilty wishes you an excellent day.

After reading the 5 star reviews for Oseteria De Roma, my husband and I decided to try for ourselves. It does not disappoint! Their bread is home made (and delicious), pastas fresh with super flavorful sauces and the tiramisu to die for. The owner/chef was very attentive coming over to see how we enjoyed our meal and service was first class. Should we find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely return. Thank you very much for leaving us your comment. We are happy that you have been well. We hope to see you again soon
