Had a very enjoyable meal last night with a special 8-course Michelin meal at the Soleil, The Mulia in Bali. We started with cocktails and canapés at the beach, and then moved to the restaurant for a marvellous meal featuring a range of specialities .... including interesting raw fish; a tomato and cheese dish; crackers with Balinese Sambal, sweet potato, and king crab; barramundi with puttanesca sauce; a delightful mushroom risotto; a mouthwatering medium-rare beef tenderloin with anchovy mayonnaise; lobster with peanut coconut bisque sauce (pictured to show the portion sizes and presentation); and two delightful sweets. Thankfully, all portions were small, but the range of tastes fantastic. All washed down with a good French Bordeaux. Great experience! Marvellous service, and we were seated alongside a Russian couple .... very enjoyable and interesting

This breakfast buffet has such a large variety of food and drinks. Food includes bakery section such as bread, donuts, danish, muffins etc. thereâs a section for eggs - boiled, fried, omelette- the choice is yours. Thereâs sushi, miso soup, noodles, rice, congee, Indian food, sausages, hash brown, fresh fruit, juice, cereal, waffles, crepes, pancakes, salads, yoghurt and much more. Just eat to your heartâs content! Location and staff were lovely, but food just was not up to scratch, especially for the price. Equivalent of £30 (once taxes added) for two small mains and two drinks. Tuna mille feuille was ok, but satay was poor. Zero taste. The sides for this were not at all good. Rice cake looked grey and was unappetising. Strawberry juice was good. Personally I donât think the wonderful beach view is worth the price of the meal. Maybe better for lunch? Went for early dinner and I could get a seat next to the sea, both food and drinks offering were good and i tried their monthly special dessert which was good. We had dinner at this Italian restaurant. It had nice ambience with nice lighting at night by the pool and beach. We ordered pizza and pasta and dessert. Great service, food, and music.
