I was here with my family for a lovely meal. All ingredients are fresh from the day !! It was one of the greatest experience ever. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone. Staff are amazing. You pay for the quality !Can't wait to come back

Lâabbiamo scoperto per caso, e devo ammettere che è stata una scoperta favolosa. Proprietari gentilissimi, il cibo ottimo, prezzo buono. Cozze erano strepitose. Particolare attenzione anche per i più piccoli, pasta fresca corta e disponibilità di seggiolini. Consigliatissimo

Lovely little place in Palata, Italy. Owners were charming. Food was delicious. Try the penne ala drillo and the maiele agrodolce. Perfetto!! Grazie!!

Off the beaten track, this place serves unexpectedly fine Italian food. There is just one decision to be made before you can enjoy the magic emerging from the cucina: choosing between a carne or pesce-based course menuâ¦. You will experience a variety of scrumptious hot and cold antipasti followed by a delicious primo and - if you have time and space - a secondo. Highly recommended.

Excellent meal from all angles. Pasquale and wife Celeste have made this restaurant their passion. They have a changing menu-of-the-day, ours was under 30E. The modern lightly-decorated restaurant has an open, clean feel, seats 65. There is a great panoramic window view and a wide outside grassy area overlooking of the valley and low mountains below. The golden fields of wheat at sunset under a full moon was breathtaking. Plenty of hand-crafted antipasto dishes both warm and cold, such as local salami made with Montepulciano, local Pecorino cheese. The warm cheese croquette (ricotta and other cheeses) was excellent. Two 'firsts': one was a hand-made ("fatto in casa") local twist on orecchini (thumb-print pasta) called Pasta Drocchie with a sauce of 7-cheeses and creamed vegetables. The other was a superb delicate ricotta/spinach ravioli.The beef main course was Black Angus beef from Argentina. Perfectly marinated and grilled. I'm from Chicago so I know what good beef is. Pasquale buys his meat from an international meat market, which explains the high quality of the beef (very rare in Italy) He is careful to buy meats etc. from environmentally sustainable countries. A simple yet elegant dessert of pear slices.. don't know what the juice was but it was lovely. The couple sat down with us after the meal and talked. Very genuine couple.The sign is small and the turnoff quick and sloped, so be careful getting there.

E' la seconda volta che ritorno in questo ristorante a conduzione familiare che, non molto lontano dall'uscita autostradale di Vasto sud, consente di evitare la solita fermata in un'area di servizio, per la pausa pranzo. Il ristorante, periferico,si trova vicino alla caserma dei Carabinieri di Montenero. Questa volta mi sono trovato meno bene dell'anno scorso. Ho trovato, infatti, gli affettati (ventricina), meno gustosi dell'ultima volta. Buono, invece l'agnello alla brace.Servizio rapido, cortese. Prezzi buoni.

I think we were the only non-Italians here. This seemed very popular with locals. We ordered the Antipasta della casa and we thought the meat selection was huge. But then dish after dish followed. It was enormous but fabulous food, although we weren't so enthusiatic about the last couple of dishes which I think contained liver and other organs! But there was so much here. the problem was we had already ordered pizza. We barely made a dent in those as we were already full!

We arrived in this charming little Agroturismo, probably no more then five rooms to be warmly welcomed by Margarita. She just couldn't do enough to make sure we were satisfied with our room. It was relatively small but well appointed and very clean. But the best was to come... diner. First, I should explain that everything ingredients served is from the farm they own and operate. It means perfectly fresh, delicious, in season and of course Bio. Nicola the chef, treated us with a many many courses meal as well as much as we wanted of their own red and white wine. Their is no menu, they just keep bringing food.....We started with grilled veggies, cheese and cold cut platters, veggie spreads, artichokes in rich cream. Then, three types of pasta, black truffles, pesto and tomatoes. They were more delicious one then the other but my favourite is the black truffle. I am not finished, now for the main meal. It started with grilled fish and continued with a plate consisting of various grilled lamb, pork and beef. Then, of course because we were starving it continued with a delicious beef stew. At this point, we begged them to stop but of course they needed to bring desert. Ice cream, tarts and fresh fruits. It was an incredible experience I recommend to all reading this comment. In the morning we had breakfast, eggs, fresh bakery, I'll spare your the rest...and by the way, they have a great coffee. Now the last surprise came after breakfast when she brought the bill for 180 euros. I couldn't believe it. I asked Margarita if their was a mistake and shyly she asked me if I thought it to be to much !!!! Incredible experience.
