We ate here 4 times while staying in Kokkini, lots of choice on the menu, the food was delicious, reasonably priced and friendly staff. We ordered a starter on the first night,not realising they give you bread as well (free) and wished we hadn't as the main course dishes are huge!

Visited twice during our stay, good selection of food, cooked to perfection. Friendly staff and good reasonably priced cocktails. Many thanks we will definitely visit again. I recommend the seafood in particular excellent!

The Arkadi was recommended to me by a friend back home in Scotland so when we arrived in Kokkini Hani we decided we would try it for lunch. My husband had an omelette and I decided to try one of their freshly made pizzas. Not knowing what to expect I ordered a medium pepperoni pizza which turned out to be very big....small would have been enough.....but it was so good that my husband was only too willing to help me get through it. Last night we decided to return and he opted for a steak which was very good whilst I decided on lamb chops. These proved to be absolutely delicious, every mouthful was wonderful! The chops were accompanied by French fries â¦..have had several meals elsewhere since we arrived and the fries have been 'ok' but these were cooked to perfection, as was the portion of mushrooms. We will be returning again soon so that hubby can order the lamb chops and I can try something else off their great menu. Being the end of the season now, we were the only two in the restaurant last night until another couple appeared sometime later and so we had a long conversation with the owners who were delightful. I would thoroughly recommend this place. Its the best one around these parts...â¦.not to be missed!

The best place you can eat in Heraklion, with a beautiful environment!!! A small garden on the back of the building with lemon trees and herbs, friendly people quiet environment with amazing food, I especially love the fish dishes, Mussels, meat is beautiful too. Prices are normal to Greek standards.Me and my husband have made this place a once in a week night out! Itâs that good!!

We went here and I was amazed ! Now I donât really like fish but my husband does so I thought go for it ! It was one of the best meals ever ! I had the cod in batter with a gorgeous garlic mash and my partner had the swordfish both were fantastic ! Absolutely great service and the sunset was beautiful , totally recommend ! This place has an extensive menu and I doubt there would be anyone who couldnât find something to eat here. They have a number of Greek specialties at really good prices. Our waiter was also fantastic providing us with recommendations and event bringing us a beer on the house. Would definitely visit again!

We arrived late at night after a long journey and were staying at OLGA studios. Giorgas the owner recommended this restaurant which was onlyl a 10 minute walk from our appartments. We only had a couple of Gyros and a drink and it was very nice. The staff were very friendly. I would recomment this restauranat if you are in the area.

Stopped in for lunch on our first day in Crete, and found ourselves in a lovely place with some of the best food we've eaten on this three week trip.Traditional dishes are brought into the modern world and everything is prepared beautifully. This is a very special place that will not disappoint.
