Restaurant is beautiful and looks like it should be amazing. Sadly the service was shocking and the food wasnât great, gristly steaks and bland food. Beef stew was lovely but that was the only redemption. Bill was placed on the table even before we were even offered dessert menus.

We came here after visiting the castle today and found a great table overlooking the sea view. Service great, good prices and a delicious club sandwich and potatoes. Definitely a great find!

Visited on our last night and it didnât disappoint. Excellent food and service. Probably one of the best meals we had during our stay on Kefalonia.Prices very very good as well as the location. Make sure you visit this one.

The taverna was busy and all outside tables were reserved, so we were glad that we had booked beforehand. Attentive service and helpul advice on the menu, We chose off the specials for the main course, trying Sea Bass and the Lamb Shank, Both were lovely. The stuffed Portabell mushrooms were delightful. Desserts were allso excellent. A little more expensive that most other restraurants but definitely worth it.

We were recommended to try Kastro by two other couples we met on holiday. The specials menu had a list of mouthwatering cheesecakes and we opted for the Black Forest cheesecake on the recommendation of others. It was delicious! The setting is beautiful and staff very friendly. We'd happily return for a meal.

Set with a gorgeous view over the village and mountains, this little family friendly restaurant offers amazing traditional food, at a reasonable price, with a beautiful balcony and terrace. My personal favourites were the Souvlaki, Kefalonian Meat Pie, and Stifado, however leave some room for dessert, as they are too worthy of a bite or two!! All in all a lovely family run restaurant, we ate here multiple times during our stay and will return should we return to kefalonia

During our two week stay in Trapezaki we visited this restaurant 4 times for food and twice sat in the lovely front garden for drinks. The service here is attentive and friendly.The owner Kiriakos introduced himself on the first visit and he and his team were very professional. We tried many of the dishes both from the main menu and specialities and all were excellent, plentiful and well priced. They take time to explain the dishes and give a choice of accompaniments. We would highly recommend a visit.

Maria and her husband have been amazing hosts and food delicious. We arrived on a Wednesday evening very late, they were about to close and not much choice of food left because they have been extremely busy with many customers that day, and Maria prepares all dishes fresh everyday. But they have been amazing, welcoming us and feeding us with delicious grilled meat. They were very friendly and the outside covered terrace is lovely.

Awful restaurant. Mashed potatos with lime and garlic is note a thing to do. With garlic is accettabile but not with lime. not knowing how to make roasted peppers is not acceptable even if you are not a cooking addicted. The price is low but is even to high if you consider the quality of the dishes. They have many dishes in the menu but the half of them are not available. Awful restaurant. Not to take in consideration if you will spend your summer holidays in Cefalonia.Hello. As i can imagine you have never try the traditional kefalonian smashed garlic potatoes which we call here aliada. The ingredients of this traditional kefalonian dish as you can search and find on google are potatoes, garlic and lemon juice. Thatâs the way we make it and serve it in our restaurant. Its also not very nice of you to call our restaurant awful at the time that the only dish that your company not consume from all the dishes you have order was aliada. Please other time if you do not know the ingredients of a traditional dish don't judge it because an ingredient of it its not in your taste. Thank you.

This was recommended in an old rough guide. We all tried something different, the meat pie was apparently super, I tried the aubergines imam after a salad starter. It was delicious. Thereâs a covered garden area through the restaurant which was perfect on a hot day.
