What a lovely evening! We sat in this quirkily decorated restaurant eating a rather nostalgic meal of avocado and prawns (so prettily presented) and fillet steak with peppercorn sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection. The tables are rather disconcerting as they are mirrored but all part of the restaurant's eccentricity. Sadly we may not return as we live in Suffolk but we certainly will should we be back in the area.

We had a Groupon voucher for here.Unfortunately on the night there was a Staff shortage that didn't help matters at all.The Service was poor.The FOOD however was first class so we will go back and would recommend it.Steve and Debbie.Harrogate.

We visited this restaurant on a fairly busy Friday night,we booked a table for 4 plus our 1 year old grandson.We had a good table,bread,olives and a tapenade were brought along with two jugs of tap water.The fist surprise was that the waitress failed to advise that the black olive tapenade was had anchovyâs mixed in it until we asked,after trying some on the nice corn bread,Iâm veggie but it was a good job I didnât have any fish allergies.So we decided to order main courses.My wife had one of the veggi pizzas,my son in law had the calzone,my daughter had a nice salad and I had a pesto pasta dish.The pizzas were ok but could have been a bit better,for an Italian restaurant that was a bit of a disappointment.They were not as thin crispy and I assume that they donât have a proper pizza oven.We had coffee and tiramisu,I had an espresso coffee with limoncello to .With the wine the bill was £90.Again my only gripe was the pizzas,the service was great,fairly quick and efficient and they served up the cake we bought in at the end of the meal sliced up with a drizzle of chocolate sauce.When we return,which I am sure we will,I think we should steer clear of the pizzas.

After watching bikes in the rain, we needed some cheering up. Papas had been recommended and we were not disappointed. Whilst we only had vegetarian dishes they were truly tasty.The staff were also friendly but not over fussy.Would definitely go again.There were clearly some repeat customers in during our visit.Thanks for your lovely review Michael, we strongly believe in recommending and word of mouth .We hope to see you soon.

This was a return visit as we really enjoyed our first visit. Had the meze this time everything freshly made with lovely fresh flavours and plenty of variety. The dips are really excellent and they will bring more pitta type bread etc if you want it but we had enough. The rice is very tasty with some textural elements that make it special and that's from myself who doesn't usually like rice. Staff couldn't do enough and it has a buzzing atmosphere with a great chilled sociable vibe. The mid price rose has very nice tones of strawberry at just under £19 a bottle its worth it as often rose wines do not have much depth.

This is fast becoming our fav restaurant. Tonight a table for two for our wedding anniversary. The staff are excellent, welcoming and look after you. The menu offers great choice, very nicely cooked. You are left feeling full but not stuffed. We both had the lamb tonight and it was good. And when the bill comes, you have had a good meal, excellent value for money and start thinking about your next visit

Unfortunately we went here on our last of 3 nights in Harrogate, or we would have been there every night. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful, the atmosphere is cosy and intimate and the food is amazing. We had the best ever calamari (and we love our calamari) as a starter, along with a very tasty smoked aubergine salad. For mains we had a chicken dish cooked with almonds, apricots, sultanas and vegs which was very fresh and tasty and homemade meatballs baked with peppers and a tomato sauce with cheese - also very tasty. We shared a baclava for dessert. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves authentic Eastern Mediterranean/Turkish/Greek food. Itâs a winner!

Staying in Harrogate for a few days we stumbled across this restaurant as it was a short walk from our accomodation. So glad we decided to go in for dinner. Food was great.
