Partiamo dai pochi aspetti positivi di una cena di mezza estate. Locale ampio con una terrazza panoramica con vista sullo Scoglio della Regina. Ahimè la serata non è per niente positiva. Polpo e patate da dimenticare, uno dei commensali ha lasciato il piatto dopo appena una forchettata. Ostriche dal retrogusto non proprio piacevole. Paccheri con pesce spada e melanzane paragonabile ai precotti che si trovano nei supermercati. Grigliata mista discreta ma seppia gommosa e palesemente surgelata. Scialatelli immangiabili. Fritturina di calamari con verdure mediocre. Buono il tiramisù (ma certamente non eravamo venuti in questo ristorante per il dessert!). Conto per la qualità offerta molto alto: 38 euro a testa (mediamente ognuno dei commensali ha ordinato 1 antipasto e 1 secondo) con 4 bottiglie di vino bianco e 4 d'acqua. Esperienza sicuramente da non ripetere.

We stayed a week in the Antigua residences and for dinner each day did not need to go further than the brilliantly run restaurant in the same building. We had a memorable introduction to the culture and food of Calabria. We look forward to planning to visit again.

Forse sono capitato in una serata particolare per qualche motivo o non saprei che dire ma ci sono volute più di 2 ore nonostante ci fossero pochi tavoli.Antipasto insalata di calamari e gamberi che mi lascia deluso ma fortunatamente il buon umore ritorna con un abbondante piatto di linguine ai frutti di mare.

We have been going to Le Casette for more than 15 years. They always deliver very tasty food. The pastas and pizzas are top quality! The flower terrace provides the perfect setting to enjoy these meals.

A really big thank you to Enzo and his staff for helping us celebrate our son's 30th birthday. The food was lovely and fresh and cooked to order. We were a table of 15 and sat outside on the terrace which overlooked the sea, a perfect spot. He was happy for us to bring our own champagne and birthday cake which added to the occasion. Well done and keep up the good work. I would be happy to eat there again when visiting Italy.

Acquadimare is a beautiful restaurant in a delightful garden setting close to the sea in Acquappesa, a fantastic town in Calabria, Italy. Acquappesa is a small town, and Acquadimare is probably the most upscale restaurant in the area, which is reflected in the surroundings, but the food is true to the honest, fresh and traditional quality you would expect in Calabria.Staff are friendly and helpful and you can get by without knowing much Italian if you put your faith in them!Try the trofie ai frutti di mare, its amazing.

Solid tradition from the territory. The sea is a few meters away, nice view. Go for mixed "antipasti" and half-meter-fried-sea-food (yes, half meter) for each person. You will taste the very typical flavours of the area, probably don't get to the bottom of your plate (portions are big) and not regret it. Nothing special about wine selection. Prices are mid-ranged for the region. Quality-to-price ratio is good.

We stopped here for a late dinner in beautiful Guardia. This place is located across the street from the sea. It was late so we couldnât see but Iâm sure during the day itâs really nice. We started with fries calamari. This was the only time I ate calamari for the whole 2 weeks I was in Italy. I was a bit disappointed. It was a bit chewy and not flavored very well. My main dish was linguine with clams and it was excellent. The clams were fresh and the flavoring was perfect. My wife had a pasta dish with tomato sauce and mozzarella and it was delicious. Service was good here and everyone was very friendly. When I come back I will try again.Thanks for the review.When he returns he will surely find excellent squids.
