We visited Terra Sarda twice this summer and both visits were very good. The outside of the restaurant is not fancy and attractive but the interior is very nice.Staff is attentive and real Italian. A warm welcome. Reservations will be needed to ensure a table. They have a good wine list which is reasonably priced. Do not expect mainstream Italian dishes like pizza margarita or spaghetti bolognese. Instead can choose from authentic Italian dishes. On Thursdays they will receive fresh fish from Italy. So try the tuna steak or the clams. They were outstanding.Portions are of the right size, forget the mineral water from a bottle, the tap water comes from the mountain and is really good.A place to recommend!!!!

We have spent five days together with our friends in the Veranda Guesthouse. The staff is one of the best I have ever seen. They did all their best and I canât find the words for that kindness that we met.We have rented the apartment on the first floor. Our apartment was just renovated with a nice kitchen and living room. The two bedrooms are not separated thatâs why I would recommend it only for one family or good friends. The breakfast was delicious. Different types of eggs, ham, jam, Joghurt, etc. We travelled together with our dog (he is not small, but very good boy). The owner had no problem with him. Our dog mustnât sleep in the bed and that was the only thing what the owner expected from our dog as well.This region is perfect for hiking and biking tours. We did skiing. The Kranjska Gora ski region is better for beginners because it is not too big. Veranda Guesthouse is a perfect place!Thank you very much for your review. Had dinner here one of the nights we stayed in Kranjska Gora. Absolutely great place to eat. Amazing prices given the quality of the food and outstanding service. Hotel à la carte restaurant with high aspirations. Made its name during realm of a previous chef, was then somewhat lost, but impeccable again during my visit. Modern design, simplistic, even slightly sterile, yet quite fancy. Definitely enough space for relaxed dining, comfortable upholstered chairs. Parking in front easy. Great view over the nearby Alps from window tables and summer terrace.Service notably friendly, helpful and efficient. More than 70 labels on the wine list, mostly Slovenian, well chosen and with moderate markups considering restaurant status. Extremely short no-nonsense menu, the kind I so like to see. All dishes served were delighful, perfectionist and quite creative. »Egg« is phenomenal, so is »Trout«, both served with fresh truffles. I can easily award kitchen with 15+ on my own 1-20 scale.Sadly, I can not heartily recommend the place for foreseeable future, as the well reputed Dalmatian chef was only there on a three months' contract, so it is hard to predict the future food quality. I keep my fingers crossed, though.

We liked this restaurant so much that we ate there every night of our stay In Kranjska Gora. The pizzas made the kids happy (the one with sausage and onion was delicious). The local dishes made the adults happy. The free blueberry liquor at the end of each meal was a nice touch. While there were tourists eating here, there were also locals too who seemed liked regulars (we took that as a good sign). Nice outdoor eating space. Reasonable prices. All and all this was one of our favorite dinner spots on our 20 day trip through Europe
