Called in for breakfast and please we did. Both wife and I had the Pantry Breakfast, a full English plus, which came freshly cooked with local ingredients and it was excellent. Could of had a fair choose from the breakfast menu. Lunch menu commences midday and we will certainly return to try, although the Sunday Roast menu is on the list of must try. Friendly service, very clean interior and nice sun garden. Interesting shop and wine selection, glasses or bottles can be enjoyed with your breakfast or lunch. Set within a converted post office this charming cafe-come-restaurant is certainly worth a visit, or two.It was lovely to meet you yesterday and thank you for sharing you enjoyable experience with others. We look forward to welcoming Tg you back for a lunch very soon!

Wrong food brought...asked for salad, brought pizza...therefore complementary...good service. Thank you. Brought the salad which had gone brown avocado in it..,unfortunately a feature of the dish (2nd ingredient on the list I think it was)which also consisted of perhaps one eight of a whole avocado. 2 or 3 pieces of spring onion when it was a feature of the dish. As was the lemon dressing which consisted of a miniscule slice of lemon.asked for some lemon dressing which they brought very promptly...unfortunately it was 2 miniscule slices of lemon....not what I would call a dressing! We went in at 7 and by time we left it was 9.15 and we were nearly last customers...we were a party of 6. When you can barely hear the conversation because they are clanking crockery and hand drying and then throwing cutlery into the draw...for at least 15 minutes...not a good ambience

Excellent family run business with excellent service. Cosy bar and restaurant. We all had different items of the menu and every thoroughly enjoyed every meal we had. My husband didn't want to finish his steak as he said it was amazing. Really friendly, nothing to much trouble. Can't wait to go back Foster family

We really enjoy coming here and there was a nice hub hub this evening. Fillet steak is great, the calamar (eggy squid) starter lovely, really enjoyed the aubergine and mozzarella meatball dish and had to finish on the rich baklava desserts. The team here are genuinely down to earth, sincere and serve good honest tasty food. Very much deserves to be amongst the top ten percent of Cheltenham's restaurants as a family run business.

Came here on the basis of excellent TA reviews and we were delighted with what we experienced. Lovely ambience, comfortable chairs and friendly warm, but professional service. Food was outstanding. Excellent choice of dishes. The fish (sea bream) was beautifully cooked and presented. Couldnât fault it. We come from London and our friends from Canada, but if we lived locally we would frequent it very often. I have had some very good meals here in the past, but this time the menu was limited and unambitious, there was no red wine available and the food itself was bland and unlovely.

Went on the recommendation of a local as I was from out of town. Dinner did NOT disappoint!! Food was outstanding (Iâm still dreaming about my scallop appetizer)! The rest of my party also throughly enjoyed their meals. Wine selection was good, and the wines we had were fabulous. Canât recommend this place enough. Donât know when Iâll be back in town, but Iâll be stopping by LâArtisan when I do.
