Despite most of the waiters speak little English and the menu is in Italian, you will find a way to order your choice of food and drinks. The beerlist and winelist are very impressive. We had the Gulp beer, local white and one of the Bulghieri red wines. We had deer carpaccio, pasta carbonara, mixed platter and another pasta as starters: delicious. The steak, burger and pork as main were as least as good.Definitely book in advance.They officially open at 2030, but they don't mind if you arrive five minutes early.Thanks a looooooooooooot!

We shared a sandwich with tuna and mozarella (delicious!) and a salad with burrata and ham. Good service. The 20% reduction linked to our reservation with The Fork was only given after 2 reminders. Attractive interior.

Il locale è ben strutturato, capace e accogliente anche se dispone di unaventina di coperti all'esterno (protetto) e una trentina circa all'interno. Anche se si trova nella zona decentrata degli uffici finanziari e delle scuole, non è frequentata soltanto da impiegati o rpofessori, anche perchè il livello, rispetto a locali analoghi, è un po' più elevato. Si può mangiare alla carta o si possono scegliere i piatti del giorno (pochi, per la verità ) consigliati dal personale. I cibi sono buoni, la preparazione dei piatti degna di un ristorante di buon livello, il rapporto qualità /prezzo interessante, anche se i costi non possono paragonarsi, per ovvie ragioni, a quelli dei locali che lavorano proprio con la categoria di lavoratori sopra citati. Conveniente la possibilità di pagare con ticket elettronici (buoni pasto) oltre che con carte di credito o contanti. Il personale è estremamente gentile, ben motivato e preparato, con tempi di attesa che, anche se dipendono dall'ora e dalla presenza dei lavoratori nella fascia loro consentita per il pranzo, non sono mai elevati.

We were a group of 12, just arrived in Bari and we had our first lunch at Gola. The restaurant was fully booked but they tried to find a place for us, we had an apetizer meanwhile they prepare the set up.for our table. The food was very good and the service amazing. It was a very warm welcome in Italy for our New Year roadtrip. I recommend the place and we hope to come back.Tnx so much. Only noticed this restaurant as the large gates were open and initially only entered to look at the menu. Moments later we are seated and then realised it was Michelin listed. Initially we were brought a choice of taster starters which were very nice and a glass of sparkling wine. We then only had one main dish each although many other guests were having various. My wife's duck was excellent but my tuna was boring and almost none existent. On complaining the chef made me a local white fish dish which was excellent. Didn't charge any extra or make a fuss, dealt well with my issue. Only thing that did annnoy me, which wasn't the restaurants fault, was the amount of dushes ordered by some customers and then never eaten, what a waste of good food.

This is not a part of Bari you are likely to visit unless you live locally or are visiting somebody in the prison that is a few hundred metres away. I made a small detour and would happily do so again. It is an unconventional eatery that has a small menu that focuses on fine food: hot vegetarian dishes and cold cuts with wonderful cheeses washed down with good local wines. I will try the desserts next time. There are very few tables so booking would be wise. The high ranking on trip advisor is entirely justified. When you at fed up with the usual predictable offerings try Origini to restore your faith in high quality unpretentious pugliese food. My compliments to the owners.

I highly recommend this place. The location is breathtakingly beautiful and you can enjoy a tasty lunch at a very reasonable price (pasta is 5 euro, a little more if you want meat or seafood). I also appreciated the quality of their spritz! Worth looking for if you are in the area.

Excellent concept for fast food. Fresh products, quick service, great prices. Nice beer on tap. Even their olive oil is Organic and excellent. Lunch for two 20â¬.I save 5 stars for exceptional places with exceptional dishes. Someone wrote this concept could be franchised. Impossible to have these ingredients in other regions. This concept should however be copied!

We booked at this restaurant for a dinner with friends. We got really impressed by the fancy location, as well as by the courtesy of the staff.We tasted several appetizers and 2 different main courses. Every plate was introduced and well described by the waiter Davide. We loved every single thing we tried, it was all delicious and cooked to perfection.Don't forget to try the dessert (we particularly appreciated the "cannolo scomposto" and the "baked peach" with a smoked aftertaste which was truly amazing!)Definitely worth trying and highly recommended if you want to try genuine italian food with a classy twist.Good quality to price ratiothanks so much !!! ;-)
