At the end of a two week trip throughout Europe, my husband and I made reservations at Za'atr to enjoy a last meal before we headed home. We arrived just before 7pm in the very small restaurant (only 4 tables inside) and proceeded to order the mezze platter for two. We got to choose 4 cold dishes and 3 warm dishes and it was CHF 63. The food arrived quickly and totally blew us away with its flavor and freshness. The falafel were the best we've had outside of the Middle East!!! While the restaurant may not look like much from the outside or inside, trust me, it is a hidden gem that you simply must visit! If you would like a seat, I would suggest making reservations which I was able to easily make via email. Definitely stop here while in Zurich if you love Lebanese food!

Although not in Zurich city if you on way say to Ikea or servicing your car nearby or visiting a car dealer in the area then definite stop for a meal or quick doner kebab sandwich.We had one main with lamb skewers ; one mixed Schwarma and fries and two portion of kibbes. If you not familiar with Lebanese food waiters will explain one speaks English .Many vegetarian options - hummus; falafel; eggplants and other salads. Desserts also good like baklava or kanafaExcept the pitta bread which was dry all was Freshly prepared and tasty. Good value for the price compared to center of Zurich . It is a small place but friendly staff. Way better then a Zurich chain of Turkish food!!

We really enjoyed the food, i would say it was some of the best we had whilst in Zurich. Price wasn't too bad either but the service was certainly slow, for the whole meal. we waited 30 minutes for our deserts and had to remind them.
