Find out what Latin restaurants to try in Nazca. Taking a light aircraft flight over the plains 200 miles south of Lima is the best way to appreciate the Nasca Lines, the World Heritage-designated geoglyphs etched into the stony desert surface. The creators and meaning behind these startlingly precise abstracts and animal figures remain a mystery, but their 1939 discovery launched a steady swarm of tourists upon this tiny town – accessible via bus from Lima, Cusco and Arequipa.

We had a really good night here - it is very touristy with lots of tour groups but great fun with live music and good pisco sours!! I had pollo a la plancha (grilled chicken breast) with salad which was delicious and my husband had a goat stew which he enjoyed a lot. Service is a bit slow as they were very busy but a good night overall.

We had a good lunch in this restaurant after our flight. Beautiful authentic décor. Nice Peruvian meals with moderate prices. Good service. Free WIFI. All we need at that point. Only few tables were occupied on our arrival but friendly manners of the crew overweighted our concerns. This restaurant was recommended by our tour guide and we were not dissappointed.

Elegant restaurant with rustic decor with free access to guest kitchen
At the Mamashana restaurant, we ordered lots of food such as their specialty Lomo Saltado, Fried Rice, Chicha Marada, and a special fruit chocolate ice cream dessert. Our waiter, Fernando was very nice about explaining the wide variety of dishes and drinks to us. The food came quickly and was delicious. Although there was a sudden widespread blackout that occurred, Fernando was quick to react by taking out large lights so we that we could still dine while we waited for the power to return. Fernando was overall a nice waiter and the food was delicious.

We enjoyed a nice meal with drinks in this restaurant. We were looked after very well by Joseph who helped us choose a local Peruvian wine. The restaurant is nicely furnished and there is a wide choice of dishes including vegetarian options. This is a good option for lunch or dinner.

The smell of delicious rotisserie chicken embraces you when you walk in. The first thing you see are chickens roasting over coals. Then you will notice the large, generous plates emerging from the kitchen and being served at unbelievably reasonable prices. I ordered a salad with my chicken, and watched while it was being made. Huge portions of vegetables topped with an entire chopped avacado. The avacado had just been peeled and then tossed in a yummy oil and lemon dressing, before being placed on top of my salad. My meal was fresh, delicious, abundant, and inexpensive!
