I always meet colleagues here for a quick and easy dinner before our annual evening meetings. Service is friendly and often a bit slow, but the Mexican food is great, the chips and salsa are great, and the margaritas are really good.

Get the snapper tacos! Long standing favorite. Theyâre also famous for the âblack goldâ salsa. Taco Janes is a well run local spot that has indoor/outdoor seating and is very family friendly. Their offerings are a cut above standard Mexican fare and the kitchen has it dialed in. The avocado shrimp salad is great too. Something for everyone. Full bar now as well.

Visited Mi Pueblo for lunch with a friend. The food was very good and the prices were reasonable. The service was Ok, but our waitress didn't seem to know how to smile. Everyone else was friendly. The food was better than other San Anselmo Mexican restaurants so I'm sure I'll return.

Very cozy, with fountains, plants, art, beads, and Latin music. The portions are generous, and the prices reasonable. Service varies depending on who you get, but the owner is around to supervise. Nice place for small groups, for brunch or dinner.
