The location is great overlooking the seafront with seating inside and outside.The food is just average , seasoning would be good idea, i was served with potato wedges and chicken strips to share, it was ok, nothing to shout home about.It doesn't tick the boxes for me

Don Taco first won my loyalty when I discovered they were serving corn tortillas (a rarity in Chile, much less Antofagasta) only to learn they made them themselves! While the tacos are pretty good â the fish tacos, in particular are an impressive amount of food â I tend to prefer their sopes or flautas. Both are served as an appetizer, but I will eat either as a somewhat light meal. It's a great little spot with dishes you won't find anywhere else in town, with flavor and texture combinations that are really excellent.

After reading the reviews, I was looking forward to visiting. I even convinced my colleagues that it was worth a shot, even though we'd had Peruvian the night before at Quepay.As we entered, there was the faint aroma of cigarette smoke, so we asked for the non-smoking section, only to be told it doesn't have one. 3 of the 4 in our group are highly intolerant of cigarette smoke, so we left. A big shame, as it otherwise seemed like it could be pretty good - the decor was cool.

Good service and food. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice.Is not cheap, but cost is average in comparison with other good restaurants of Antofagasta.

Payta came highly recommended by locals and I was not disappointed. The three story Peruvian Restaurant/Pisco Bar has excellent seafood and meat dishes that easily ranked among the best that could be found in Antofagasta, Chile.The restaurant overlooked the Pacific Ocean and provided patrons excellent views while dining.The only down side to non-Spanish speakers is that the staff and menus were not available in English. With that said, I was able to figure out what I wanted and was not disappointed with the food and service I received.If you are in the area, Payta should be one of the places you visit.

The service is quick and accurate, the place is very clean and consists of three areas: along the street, opposite to the bar and a fairly quiet patio deep inside. A menu is doubled in English, good starters that include freshly baked bread, good selection of beverages (including non-alcoholic ones) and postres, friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.
