Nice small restaurant serving good quality plates with slightly clumsy service. Japanese fusion with a shared plates concept. Chefs are very passionate. Food well presented. Booked online. When we ordered we requested the plates to come out in a particular order. The waiter stated that he would try his best. This request should not an unusual one and exposed the ‘Adelaide’ mentality to dining. All we wanted was the correct order as the dishes were very different and we wanted to pause in between some. We ordered 6 shared plates. The kangaroo tataki was so delicious you must try this dish. The hiramasa kingfish was very heavy in the sauce and ruined the freshness of the fish. Both cold dishes, which came together. The barbecued octopus was delicious also, some tentacles a bit tough but the bbq flavor and garnishes was great and refreshing. The mushrooms in sake was also delicious. These dishes suited each other and came together. But the final dishes were outstanding. The spicy fried karaage chicken was perfect with a ginger mayonnaise and we ordered the grilled Brussels sprouts that was accompanied by a great aoliWe shared the deserts with plum wine. Cost $300 total, including 2 bottles of wine. 4 beers and plu wine.. Overall the food was good, chefs passionate - service was clumsy and showed up the inexperience of the floor manager and staff. It wasn’t fluid but awkward. The booths have very bright lighting. Would recommend a visit. Hope service improves.

My daughter has been wanting to visit a sushi train for a while now. I'm so glad this was the first one she went to. The food was delicious. The staff were very attentive and helpful. We went there on our last day in Adelaide, if we could have we would have gone back again.

Ginza Miyako recently offers high tea experience once a month in Adelaide and I have been fortunate enough to attend several times. The reason why I keep coming back for more is because they offer not only great selection of fusion Japanese dishes with exquisite dessert but the warm family atmosphere. The sashimi is fresh, tempura is nice, lightly battered so it is not oily. I love the matcha cheese cake which melted in your mouth, their mochi is so soft that which remind me of mochi that I can only get in Kyoto. The high tea experience is therefore highly recommended when you would like to share special times with your loved one.

Gorgeous small venue. A well set out menu with good portion sizes. Staff were great & we loved sitting & watching the Chefs at the cooking counter. Their house fried rice is really good...such tiny rice grains. Sadly the spinach/tofu dumplings just warm when served & a little bland. The kingfish starter was lovely. The barramundi new on the menu was delicious. Need to go back & try more on the menu as it looks very tasty
