Although activities and shopping are limited, adrenaline junkies often visit Hatta for off-road adventures in the desert or mountains including a stop at the Hatta Rock Pools, narrow windy canyons of smooth rock with pools of blue-green water. Please note that 20 kilometers of the drive from Dubai takes you through Oman. Although no immigration or customs issues, rental car insurance usually won’t cover accidents in Oman.

This is my first time visit in Miyako after their renovation. Amazing ambiance, great food and excellent service especially Gina & Kiki. I have to say I went to this restaurant with great expectations. However please read the disappointments and frustrations I had experienced here. The major problem is that this establishment is very poorly managed and run. I think the waiters are not well educated and it is surprising that the Nr 1 Asian restaurant in Dubai is so... I have experienced that smoking in open places can be banned however there is a way of saying this and a waiter showing the pub and not being polite is unacceptable... The second thing was that I had to ask 3 times for ice and I am doubtful that the waiter assigned was even understanding English properly. The third thing was that our soup came after the starters... REALLY ??? I mean that is one of the major things that even a normal, standard restaurant knows. Well, all in all I can say that the only proper thing in the restaurant is the music they have put to the bar part. DJ DARLYY. It is very convenient bcos its in the Armani Hotel. The restaurant environment is very good and high end, and if the weather is not too hot you could sit outside and besides the fountain. The dishes are very good Japanese cuisine, especially the sashimi is so fresh. The service here is quite friendly. There is a yongman named bipin who also took my son to see the light show during the meal. Good ratings & canât miss!!! While on holidays in Dubai we decided to spend our Anniversary night at the Penthouse as I had heard so much about it. The food was delicious, with a wide selection to chose from. Drinks and cocktails were expensive but very tasty. After dinner we moved outside to watch the sunset and the staff brought us out a cake and sparklers for our Anniversary celebrations. It was a fabulous surprise!! The view from the penthouse is spectacular and was well worth the visit!
