Balneário Camboriú (Portuguese pronunciation: [bawneˈaɾju kɐ̃boɾiˈu]) is a major beach resort city in the Brazilian southern state of Santa Catarina. The city, with its steep hills dropping down to the sea, is popular amongst South Americans. The main ocean boulevard is called Avenida Atlântica (Atlantic Avenue). Balneário Camboriú is famous for the cable car which (uniquely in the world) links the city's central beach and the beach of Laranjeiras. The city is located 10 km (6.2 mi) south of the city of Itajaí, 96 km (60 mi) south of the city of Joinville, and 80 km (50 mi) north of the state capital, Florianópolis. The city has a population of 124,557 (2014 census office estimate), which swells to over one million in the summer.

La última noche en B.C. fuimos hasta este local junto a mi hijo. Es un local bien ubicado a una cuadra de la Av. Atlántica, local bonito y limpio. Tienen sushi con valor de 1 a 3 reales cada roll, según elijas.Son exquisitos, buena presentación y bien preparados. Nos encantó el ceviche de salmón estaba delicioso.Para tomar, bebimos guaraná y cerveza, estaban frÃas! De todo nuestro gusto.Sólo me pareció que los platos, servicios y vasos no estaban muy bien, pues eran todos desechables... con eso se pierde presentación si vas a comer en el local, por lo demás contamina el medio ambiente, se genera basura adicional innecesaria. A mi parecer si la comida es para llevar tiene que ser llevada en envases desechables, sino... es mejor platos de loza, vasos de vidrio y cubiertos metálicos. Cobran hasta el jengibre que consumes... y no tienen salsa teriyaki!!!

Unfortunately, the whole family of four got stomach problems as soon as we left the restaurant. This was no lite attack, but immediate diarrhea. We all ate the sushi. Some of the sushi did not seem very fresh and it did not appear to be kept cold enough on the buffet table in the large dining room. When it comes to taste the sushi was quite ordinary, nothing special. There are much better sushi places in Balneario, so I would avoid this one in future. Service however was great!

Went out with some friends for dinner on a saturday. Long wait for a table so we took the balcony by the Chef. Best decision ever made, as our sushi came quick, and had the best "chef picks", by one of the best chefs in the house, Charles! Great place fir couples as well. Very trendy, so you will often find bloggers, and some of the most beautiful girls in Brazil, apart from celebrities as well. Order the seared truffled tuna, and the tuna foie gras to seal the deal!

I would only have been given this place 4 stars, but as it is one of the only places where i doesn't feel ripped off, and because of the quality is actually quite good, I'll go with 5. Good buffet from monday till wednesday, and good a la carte options. Big fan of the hot philadelphia rolls!

If you want to meet new people, go somewhere else. Those people think money is the only thing that matters. No one wants to talk to strangers, although it's a nice place to sit and hang out with friends. Go in groups then, people you already know.

We were looking for a Japanese restaurant during our vacation and we found Mity via TripAdvisor; at the time of this writing it is the #1 restaurant in the area and for a good reason. The place is very cozy and the chef and staff very friendly (it is a family-run operation). High points for the quality of the fish and rice used in their dishes.While speaking with the host/waitress she mentioned that Mity caters for the locals in Camboriú and Itapema but not many tourists knows it; the sitting area is somewhat limited but with plenty street parking - lots of people were ordering via phone or SMS so this could be a good option if you do not feel like going out or have a special bottle of sake already in the refrigerator.Excellent food, quality and friendly service and good price (compared with the outrageous prices of São Paulo) - what's not to like?Hello! Casa oferece opções de rodÃzio e pratos à la carte, o jantar estava muito bom, porém o atendimento é espetacular.
