Italian food restaurant with a contemporary touch in its dishes and atmosphere.

Although they have brick oven, unfortunately the pizza is very average, or lets say below average, especially for the price. We paid 200 pesos for prosciutto pizza, it had only few pieces of it on it, they put balsamico on top (which frankly i've never seen in my life and i travel to Italy a lot), the cheese wasnt melted, and although the service was really great, the food dissapointed us.

Our family of five ate dinner here and found the food very good and the service was excellent. I had pizza which was surprisingly good for a non- pizza chain in Mexico and the pasta got rave reviews from the entire family. It is located on the top floor right across from Boston's and has quite an extensive menu. The prices were quite reasonable and the family loved it. We would definitely return our next time in Villahermosa.

La Dantesca was born as a trattoria, a small traditional place that offers simple and beautiful flavors as in any italian home. Our dishes are prepared with olive oil, fresh vegetables; sauces, pasta and pizza dough are totally artisans, even some of the
The owner/chef spent a year at Bellagio in Las Vegas and it shows. The pasta is fresh and the sauced to perfection. The pizzas are paper thin with either white or red sauce depending on the toppings. Service is spotty but the owner takes great pride in the food so it is worth the hassle.

Enjoyed our meal here. Service was great. Food was above average. I had the sea bass and shrimp. Would recommend to anyone looking for a nice sit down meal.
