I was very doubtful about the place, the location and the food.Bun I honestly have to admit that sometimes it is very easy to be wrong. This place, besides being not easy to reach, is a food cave. We started with different kind of cheese, then tajarin, eggs, meat...everything with delicious truffle on. The taste was supreme, the chef (very young nephew of the owner) has talent.We enjoyed a very long dinner, quiet, every meal with the correct time just not to feel over stressed by food...Location itself is not the best, that's way the 4 star, but it is anyway nice.Let's talk about drink: either champagne or wines are wisely selected. The owner is very keen on champagne and he usually loves to serve just magnum bottles...This place is worth a stop by!

Abbiamo provato questo ristorante, purtroppo però il nome non è coerente con il tipo di cucina. Provato: carne cruda e anguilla in carpione, plin al sugo di tartufo e agnolotti sugo di arrosto, sacher e pannacotta. La carne non fresca già preparata precedentemente.Primi abbondanti, buoni ma lontani dai sapori tradizionali cosi come i dolci che non c'entrano nulla. Peccato perché l'ambiente è molto carino, pulito e il servizio seppur gentile inadeguato (il menù , a voce non ti permette di scegliere in modo completo e coerente con il prezzo) costo elevato, rapporto qualità /prezzo inadeguato.probabilmente un preventivo sbagliato.

I had a wonderful dinner at Sottosopra last night. The server helped me with the menu since my Italian is nonexistent. I started with gnocchis in a cheese sauce and finished with the 650 gram steak. Both very good. The suggested wine paired well . They were very kind to me there and I felt very appreciated for coming. I had sat in the bar for about an hour before the meal and they folded that bill into my overall charge. Good work.

We got a spot on the terrace and as soon as the food arrived we noticed that several flies joined us for diner, that wasn't very nice. The local wine was okay, although the bottle we ordered wasn't available at first but a couple of minutes later it turned out there was still a bottle left and we received te bottle already uncorked (where we're used to a bottle being uncorked at the table and checked by the server). Pizza tasted really nice and was served fast, enjoyed that. Waitresses didn't speak English very well, except for one, which was the one that helped us. The other waitresses obviously avoided us.

Capitatici per caso, si è rivelata una piacevole sorpresa. Il personale è professionale ed estremamente gentile. Le portate molto buone ed abbondanti. La cucina è ottima, come pizza abbiamo provato solo la focaccia bianca che si è rivelata ottima. Leggermente alti i prezzi, ma si tratta proprio di voler cercare il pelo nellâuovo. Per concludere locale consigliassimo.

Siamo tornati in questo ristorante per far provare anche ai nostri amici il loro fritto misto piemontese, che per noi è sempre stato il migliore in tutta la zona di Torino Pinerolo e dintorni! Son rimasti tutti soddisfatti, era tutto perfettamente cucinato. Il fritto perfetto, non unto. Ci siamo ripromessi di tornarci tutti insieme per provare la bagna caoda! Complimenti e bravissimi tutti, anche le cameriere in sala.

Abbiamo scelto questo locale, molto conosciuto ed apprezzato in zona, per un nostro evento familiare. Io ne conoscevo già le sue grandi virtù, ma chi era con noi ha avuto modo di apprezzarle con piacere.Grande location, che trasuda di tradizione e semplicità . Volte molto ampie, tavoli "non ammassati" e servizio quasi perfetto, con personale gentile ma non invadente.Io sapevo già che mi aspettava un grande fritto alla piemontese, dolce e salato + essendo di stagione, una porzione di funghi fritti. Chi di noi ha avuto la ventura di assaggiare gli antipasti a carrello, oltre che i primi e secondi, non è rimasto deluso. Anzi sono state espresse parole di apprezzamento. Per non parlare di un assortimento di dolci sontuoso. Per non tediare nessuno, cimentandomi in una didascalica elencazione delle portate, preferisco darvi un consiglio : venite a scoprirli.
