We stayed overnight at the Oneida Community Mansion House, and both my son and I liked the idea of having dinner at a well established local Italian restaurant that features their own sauce. Service was quick, and we ordered Lasagna and Ziti with sausage and the home made sauce. Both dinners came with bread and butter.Our dinners were o.k., but we were not overwhelmed by the taste of the sauce and didn't purchase any to take home. The saving grace were my sausages. They were some of the best I ever had, and I shared them with my son.We had also ordered 2 I.P.A. beers from the handwritten list the waitress showed us. That gave us an indication that the restaurant was not quite keeping up with the times. Their prices were not bad, but they only accept cash. That was a bit of a hardship for vacationers like us.I don't regret giving that place - and the sausages - a try, but I don't think we would go back if we visited that area again.

We love Italian food, but the brick oven Pizza is what we like most about this place. It is cozy, and on a cold winter day its nice to sit close enough to watch the flames which cook the pizza and warm the spirits.As to the other meals, the portions are good.Nice place for family, not a fancy place nor pricey.

We were visiting in the area and needed lunch. We picked Vigneto off the Google map. The onion rings were awesome! The sweet potato fries were a great option too. My mother in law loved the veggie panini. My husband said the steak panini was great! Big portions on every item ordered. Would definitely come back. Note it's a small place so big parties would be difficult.

they moved into a brand new building and the food and service are as good as ever, eat in or take out. Only drawback is they do not accept any credit cards, which is very strange in this day and age.

A must visit when in the area. We visit from Florida and always eat here a couple times while visiting. Food is fabulous and very large portions.

This was the last place on my list that I wanted to try while in the area. Great little family owned joint. Had a chance to meet the owner and she gave me some background on the place. At one time it was a bar, then became a pizzeria decades ago and then they bought it over 12 years ago. They make their own bread for the sandwiches and subs, cut/ shred their own cheese and make everything from scratch. Had a big old meatball sandwich that was fantastic! They serve pizza by the slice and it seems to be a huge hit with locals. There were so many people walking in grabbing a slice and driving off. Has to be good. Prices are very reasonable. It's an older place but don't let the appearance fool you. There is no need to change when the food is this good. It's a cool place and reminded me of old restaurants back in the 70's when I was growing up. Please stop in a try the food! You will drive right by it and not notice it, so look closely. It's located right across the street from the old factory.

We happened on this restaurant when looking for pizza on a Sunday drive, and were resplendently surprised with Pepi's pizza. We got one of their specialties and found it loaded with generous toppings.

Good meal. Good portions. Great garlic bread. Would have been nice if they had draft beer. I got the jumbo fish dinner and it was very good but I now wish l ordered something else just because you can get a fish dinner anywhere. Dark dinning room.

Dinner for 4 with business colleagues at a conference. Staff was quite helpful and didn't blink an eye for a "1/3 - 2/3" check split.Italian standards plus some updates, and great ingredients (including fresh mozzarella, always a favorite).Lots of gluten-free options including available gf pasta, etc. I almost went with a pan-fried item just because it *could* be gluten free (unusual for a resto), but did the roast chicken which was excellent.Decent wine list, but no bargains.Thank you for your review.
