Very nice place. We were there on a weeknight and were seated right away. It was a light night with only a handful of patrons. The décor is nice and warm and the service is great. The wait staff is very attentive and polite. The food however, is average. The plate that was put in front of me reminded me of a meal at a Convention Center, where they are servicing a thousand people at a time. The obligatory vegetables, a brown gravy and the ordered protein. The vegetables were steamed carrots and broccoli â really, at a local bistro. Surely you can do better than that. The brown gravy was tasteless, lacking any character. The protein was overcooked, dry. It was not much different for the other dishes brought to the table. For a local Italian Bistro the food should taste like it was made with passion. No passion here! I would really like to see this place succeed. But, I think they need to put out way better dishes than they are currently doing.

Welcome to Casa de Pasta where the fine cuisine, warm, inviting ambiance and impeccable service all add up to a rich and authentic Italian dining experience. In the spirit of a neighborhood trattoria, we welcome you to celebrate the tastes of Italy at our
Stopped in for dinner with friends visiting area, used to but no longer live in this area. Called but don't take reservations, one friend is handicapped they said no problem. Arrived and handicapped parking available and easy access. Atmosphere was rustic but very well done. Seating in side area booth worked well for our needs, manager/ owner helped us get settled with a walker. Waitress was prompt and able to handle our special requests for minor changes in dishes selected. Salads came quickly and while not fancy were very good and met our requests. Two types of Italian bread came with salads both fresh and bakery delicious. We had 3 entries for the 4 people as one could not eat much due to physical restraints, this was no problem and they even served it split up for them. All the food was some of or the best we had ever had of those dishes. We don't drink alcohol so can't comment on that but saw wine and drinks list, it looked like they have a good selection. Overall one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. All aspects were very good to excellent. Would definitely go next time we are in the area.

Great quality Italian deli food- this is a hidden gem in Denville center, and it is NYC quality. Has a few comfortable tables by the entrance and the deli behind it. Great soups and sandwiches, and good for taking out cheeses, meats and prepared food. Caution: it gets very crowded on Saturdays so if you are in a rush, leave it if there's a crowd.

We wanted to have a nice lunch with friends that were visiting from out of state!Thankfully the âFriendsâ food choices were OK!Ours were terrible! Chicken sandwich and a cheese steak sandwich! Both were prepared with melted cheese on The Outside of the Bread!!!!!No way to pick either of them up with your hands!!!THE BUTTER KNIVES WERE USELESS!!!You couldnât cut the bread with them!!!I asked for a steak knife!!!The dullest steak knife I have ever seen!!!Still canât cut through the bread nor the âSteakumsâ they were using!!!Took meals home and used our OWN STEAK KNIVES in order to finish these excuses for sandwiches!!!PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

We went with another couple, had a reservation and we had no issues. This place is BYOB that is a major advantage of coming here especially if your with a large group. Regardless the service and good were more than acceptable we would definitely go back. I know it can get loud in there but some music for ambiance would also be nice.

Rosie's Trattoria is an Italian restaurant in Randolph, NJ that offers authentic, homemade Sicilian and Napoleonic cuisine. Family-owned and operated by Rosie and Giuseppe, Rosie's Trattoria prides itself on serving the local community with the best fresh
Since being remodelled Rosie's is a very energized place. The bar is normally jumping and the restaurant quite full. Food is excellent with a wide variety of choices plus interesting specials on the weekend. Drinks are very good. Both the seafood and pasta are worth a try. Wait staff is attentive and fun. Some of the rooms lack "padding" so they are quite noisey if the place is crowded. Some tapestries or other wall hangings would help to cut down the reflection of the sound - - it can be hard to have a conversation if there are one or two noisey tables. Thanks for the praise, Raymond! I'm delighted to hear you're enjoying the remodel and our menu. Can't wait to have you back our way again sometime in the future so we can continue to impress you.Until then,Rosie I., owner

This was a rich dining experience at more than reasonable prices. The servings are very ample that my wife and I had to take half our meals home. Maybe it was the rich bowlful of Butternut Puree we started with. Each of our dishes were rich and favorable.

We enjoyed the pre fixe luncheon at La Strada for my birthday. My wife had the Pasta Fagioli soup (close to her grandmotherâs) & Fresh Snapper, I had the Caprese salad & Veal Sorrentino. We enjoyed the flavors & portions were so generous we took home the two cannolis. Nick our server was superb. Highly recommend.
