To start, this is a small village outside of Zakopane, so one cannot expect too much. In Poland, there are Italian restaurants literally everywhere, and this is no exception. The claim to fame here is that it's run by an Italian.Enough intro, let's get this started. I took my girlfriend here for her birthday. We started with soup, and the pumpkin cream soup was very good. The olive oil poured on top added to the presentation, but was detrimental in taste. It was very heavy, but not overwhelmingly so. This was by far the best part of the meal.The restaurant has specials for each season, including pizzas. They all sounded delicious. We ordered one with parma ham and forest mushrooms, and had the waitress surprise us with another, which turned out to be bacon and blue cheese. One thing stood out with these pizzas: grease. They were overwhelmingly greasy, to the point of nausea. The forest mushrooms were not just cold, but still icy. Unacceptable. I removed them, and had a parma + cheese pizza. The crust was thin, and very tasty, but also undercooked. And there was way too much cheese. The bacon and blue cheese pizza was the same. It was covered in bacon and grease, and underneath was an overwhelming amount of blue cheese that ruined the whole thing.We ate half, and left the rest behind, unable to finish. For desert, we had the tiramisu. It was homemade, and quite good, but nothing spectacular. It should be served in a much nicer glass.There is no house wine. The wine we chose was very good, but came with a steep price tag. Overall, everything here is expensive. The view, atmosphere, and service are top notch, and deserve such a price tag. Unfortunately the food leaves much to be desired. I cannot recommend this restaurant at any price, let alone the ones they charge. We walked home feeling nauseous, after only eating half a pizza. I had ordered champagne and desert at our hotel to be ready when we arrived, and both the wine and the tiramisu there were much better (and much cheaper) than what we got at Lechalet. You can do better, avoid.

A group of us were staying in a nearby hotel and came here for dinner one night. The food was really good and the setting is really nice. The only reason Iâm giving 4 stars and not 5 is that when we came to pay, we wanted to split the bill and this was met with a lot of disgust. It wasnât as though we werenât paying, just wanted to split the bill. If that had been met with less disgust, then I wouldâve given 5 stars (and probably a larger tip!)Iâd still recommend to go there, but stand your ground when wanting to split a bill. After all, youâre the one paying for the food!

We had the standard polish sour soup followed by pierogi, both of which were excellent. Ambience is very chilled. Spotlessly clean. Great service by smiley girls. Loads of room and very child friendly; large space dedicated just for kids. Parking is right next to it, a little hard to see until you turn into it.

This is a lovely Italian restaurant just off the main street. We found it using TripAdvisor and welcomed the quietness when compared to the main street. Also being vegetarian, there is always something on an Italian menu. We had dinner inside and on another day sat outside for lunch. Overall, great value for money, good quality food and friendly staff.

Absolutely remarkable food. Also service was really nice. Location is excellent, next to the Krupówki - Main Street of town, in peaceful arena. In the evening we went for couple of drinks in pub section. We grab some beers and wine and on the taras we spend very good time.Dear Guest,Thank you for your trust, we are happy that we could meet your expectations and the evening left an unforgettable impressions. FABULOUS!! A small hidden gem in Zakopane, blink & you will miss the opening. From the outside it looks basic, but inside it is welcoming with well spaced seating, tables, bar stools & seating booths that can easily sit 6 adults.We specifically ordered the burgers from tripadvisor recommendations & we were not disappointed; Pear & Gorgonzola cheese burger, Goats cheese with sun roasted tomato & pesto, beef burger with cheese. All of them arrived with fresh salad & crispy fries... perfect. We ordered large from the menu as it was just 2 zl more expensive & found that this was for more fries.The drinks that we ordered were a good size & perfect. We enjoyed Long Island Iced Tea, Gin Fizz both served in tall glasses with straws. Also lemonade that was a bit too sweet & of course a draft beer.The service was efficient & our server was lovely, quick to respond to empty glasses & in removing finished meals. We had plenty of time to relax after our meal without feeling the pressure to vacate our table.I would definitely return to this restaurant & I certainly recommend it. *English speaking staff*

Pizza is tasty and huge. Even tho the crust is thin. The indoors is really small so just pray to find a table and you won't be disappointed. Maybe in summer you will get more chances for a table coz they have outside tables. But when I went, the outside tables were all covered in snow.Don't miss this delicious pizza.
