We came with friends one lunchtime. The locale is quite large and a little soulless but the food was good and the prices very cheap for what we had. This is good, honest, local fare and certainly not high end but well worth a visit. We had 3 generous courses, wine, water and coffee for Eur12 each. It would be hard to self cater for less!

We were visiting lovely little Offida with some Italian friends. Our friend from Offida booked us for aperitivo at this wine bar. The name over the door is "Cantinetta dell'Olmo" and it is located on the main street. We were greeted by âThe Baronâ (reallly) who is the proprietor and he took good care of us. He is very proud of his own wines and informed us that under the floor there were 30,000 bottles of his wine ready for distribution. In addition to the expected bread and local cured meats, he served a unique selection of vegetarian appetizers that were very good. We saw others eating pasta that also looked yummy. I recommend you give this a try when in Offida â you wonât be disappointed.

We came around 7pm in the evening and the place was already full inside. We ordered bruschetta, tuna salad and 2 pizzas. The service was efficient and fairly speedy. The food was really fresh and the best pizza we've had so far. There is also a takeaway option from the restaurant, either in slices that you select from a counter inside or takeaway pizzas in their entirety. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Offida. Family friendly rating: 5 out of 5

We spent five nights in this delightful, peaceful location, set amongst vineyards and farmland, on rolling hills, with magnificent views in all directions, a few kilometers out of Offida. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Our hostess was Gianna and she was so very helpful to us, who were a little lost with little Italian speaking skills, and initially no transport of our own. Gianna's parents run the kitchen along with Gianna and the food was just delightful, all very fresh and authentically italian, which is what we were looking for.Apart from hiring a car and seeing some of the surrounding villages and countryside, we were happy to either explore Offida as well as spend time at Rosa dei Venti because it is so peaceful there. We had some beautiful walks around the facility, exploring the surrounding country roads, and farm land and sampling the odd fig that hung over the fence, and trying a few grapes off the vines and almonds straight off the trees. Offida is quite untouched by tourism, and we felt like we had stepped back in time when we went to Mass on one Sunday morning in Offida, and then spent the next few hours exploring the delightful town, watching what the locals do on a Sunday morning, and joining in the expresso ritual at the cafe just off the town square, which was the local gathering point after church.We would gladly visit Offida again to slow the pace down from the demands of touring a foreign country, and we would love to visit Rosa dei Venti, Offida again, and spend some relaxing days there, and tastes that delicious home style italian cooking!Thank you Gianna and Family!

Extremely well priced food and wine. You get a jug of the house wine with your food and the menu is set, but it's all tasty and I always leave with a clean plate. All the locals eat there lunch here and the staff look after you very well.

A warm, friendly welcome from a knowledgeable waiter, elegantly presented tables in small private courtyard setting. Well worth the short drive from Castel di Lama to Offida. We chose the taster menu with the wine pairing which was excellent; some new dishes, superbly presented both on the plate and by the staff. Each course and wine described to ensure total enjoyment. A must visit if you are in the area.

Took my American friends for something "quick" and ended up staying longer & trying as many dishes as we could. Great hot & cold "antipasti"; home made pasta w/truffle(!) & champignon sauce to die for! Shared a "tagliata" cooked to perfection. The semi freddo has to be the best I ever had. Everything "showered" with a good house wine. Our hostess was very attentive to our every need.

We love places like this: you'll see a good cross-section of middle-class Italians on a night out, including extended families, couples of couples, a table full of 15-year-old girls (ordering wine). Good, everyday food. If you stay at the nearby, fabulous B&B "Nascondiglio di Bacco" you will undoubtedly it here once or twice. We came two nights in a row.

As soon as we stepped in this small restaurant in the heart of town, we were pleased by the general atmosphere, the good smell coming from the kitchen and the warm welcoming of the staff. We tried the spaghettoni Mangiafuoco and the superb amatriciana, followed by deliciuos mushroom and olive all'ascolana. Cantine Pasetti Cerasuolo wine was the perfect choice for our dinner. I noticed that there were no tourists that night...
