This is not a real restaurant, it's a tipical italian bar in the middle of the countryside near to Todi.After a walk in the nice city of Todi you can follow the old way from Todi to Orvieto passing via Doglio, a very little village along the way. Here you can find "La bottega di Carlino", a tipical italian Bar where the local products can be tasted and bought.Here you can find tipical wines and snacks with local products like home-made "crostata", home-made panini with tipical Umbria products like prosciutto (ham), capocollo, salame and local cheese.Moreover, contacting the owner "Zia Paola" (aunt Paola), you can book a tipical local "merenda" or "colazione". This is a tipical middle-day snack that people usually enjoy in the middle of a walking on the countryside or a bicycle tour.In fact, in those places you can enjoy nature by feet or with a bycicle, enjoyng tipical products with a "merenda" and then, maybe with a launch in the tipical "Agriturismo" restaurants in the sourroundings.Enjoy!

Two large sandwiches and two glasses of wine and only 9 Euros. I had the sausage with veggies and my wife had the prosciutto. Their burgers looked amazing as well. They also have hot dogs if youâre traveling with small kids. Incredible value and large portions

offering both sweet and savoury crepes, this tiny fast food is located in a short alley very close to the city center. i have tried a "torta al testo" which is typical of the area with "sella di san venanzo, pecorino and erbe campagnole"... suggested by one of the two cookers...i'd say great choice! not much space if you wanna sit but it's fair place for a touch and go

My first time and first night in Todi and my friends took me here for dinner.What a wonderful start to my visit.We received a really warm welcome from the friendly attentive knowledgeable wait staff. This restaurant has a very good wine list.I ordered the tagliatelle with rabbit and truffles. Presented beautifully and full of flavour. And for desert the tiramisu which was devine. Then lovely limoncello to finish.This really is gem of a restaurant and I will return before my visit to Todi is at an end.

It really has to said this was an eating experience. Set in a beautiful small village the location is perfect. It was such a beautiful day we ate outside.Wonderful warm professional service was followed by the most exquisite food. It really could not be faulted.I ate the goose to start and then the duck. Perfect flavours along with perfect presentation made this a true culinary delight.The restaurant also has a very good wine list so whatever you choose to eat can be washed down with great bottle of wine.I finished off with the panna cotta which was a lovely lite refreshing end to what was a truly delicious meal.If in the region of Todi this restaurant is a must.

Agrincontri is a place that once you have stayed for one night you never want to leave. In fact, one couple decided to stay on instead of going to their next destination. The family who run this beautiful place are so friendly and helpful and willing to do anything they can to make you welcome. Our room was lovely and cool being naturally cooled by the thick stone walls. It had a large bathroom with a wetroom type shower overlooking the wonderful fields. Breakfast is served in their diningroom and consists of homemade jams, croissants, fruit juice and we were given homemade cake which was delicious. There is an amazing swimming pool overlooking the beautiful landscape where those wishing to sunbathe can do so, or those not able to take the heat of the sun can sit under the canopies in the shaded areas. They serve local produce in their restaurant and the food just kept on coming out, course after course of amazing dishes and deserts and then out came Carlo with a large bottle of whiskey to wash it all down! Anyone wishing to relax and turn off from the outside world, should come and stay here â you wonât be sorry!

Excellent food in a lovely, well renovated, historic little village. Food was really good, lovely wine and very friendly staff! We would definitely go back again if we were around.Highly recommended and don't forget to visit the smallest theater in the world - Teatro Della Concordia, which is just next door.

We were staying nearby and our host recommended this restaurant so we thought weâd try. Our Italian is virtually non existent so decided to email to see if we could get a table for lunch as there were 8 of us with a toddler. Email came back promptly and in English saying very sorry but they were booked but could take us in the evening and they opened at 7 so we booked. We were greeted by our waitress who spoke very good English and explained the menu and the set menu which we all opted for. What a treat. We had a mixed starter which was all fresh and tasty and had a choice of two pastas or gnocchi. Most of us had the gnocchi which was so light and tasty not like the gnocchi we have at home. We were then given a choice of a chicken dish or pork. Most of us had the pork which was thinly sliced and served cold but so tasty and the chicken cacciatore was very tasty too. Dessert was a tiramisu or a semifreddo. Most went for the tiramisu but I had the semifreddo which was lovely and creamy with chunks of chocolate. We also had some house wine. The set menu was â¬30 per person. Amazing value. We loved it so much we went back a second time on our last night. We were greeted like old friends by Massimo who doesnât speak much English but he was lovely and friendly and made a huge fuss of our granddaughter and gave her a flower on both occasions which she loved. On this second visit we had the set menu and this time the main was wild boar stew. If itâs on the menu try it. It was delicious. Do try this little gem but book. It does get very busy.

Looking for a Tripadvisor tip we ran into this place by accident. But what a pleasant mistake we've made! Fantastic Umbrian cuisine, eggs with asparages, fried zucchini flower and delicious crostone for starters. This is followed up with thin crusted pizza's with fresh ingredients and off course tartufo!Nice Umbrian food for a very moderate price! If not convinced, the place is crowded with Italians!
