Fair people. Leave your wallet there and they will return untouched. Is that important ? yes. The food is excellent.I don't want no other pizza in Lokeren. I was told they have to move somewhere else due to regulations... But I'll follow.We need those guys. The are worth.

Na de beoordelingen hier te lezen wisten we nog niet goed wat te verwachten. Maar deze mensen doen erg hun best. Ze spreken nog geen perfect Nederlands, maar met hier en daar een woordje Engels en Italiaans waren ze best te begrijpen. En waar het voor ons echt om gaat is het eten. En dat was fantastisch. We kozen voor de suggestie op het bord, de zeevruchtenschotel. Zo lekker, vers en boordevol smaak. Als dessert ook suggesties : baba met aardbeien, en Italiaanse cheesecake. Allebei super lekker. Na de koffie kregen we nog een glaasje limoncello aangeboden. Wij komen hier zeker, en graag terug!

While we moved to Lokeren already 2 years ago, we discovered De Nieuwen Heerd just recently. In a former farm house with a lot of traditional materials and interior decoration, a true traditional Italian restaurant is exposed. Great service, great food, delicious pizzas!!

We aten er zeer lekkere pasta's met ons gezin. Medium versie volstond meer dan genoeg. Super vriendelijke bediening. Lekkere desserts. Enige nadeel: terras is dicht bij de zeer drukke Europalaan.

After struggling to find anywhere to eat on a Saturday night we stepped into this place. The bar man/waiter (seemed to being doing everything) greeted us with a warm welcome. After explaining my girlfriend was celiac he was so accommodating to the food available for her. Well the wine we ordered (on his recommendation) which was just the house wine was fantastic and the food was Devine. I had steak tartare which Iâve had many times and whilst Iâll say itâs not the best one Iâve had it was still very nice and good size. The others dining with throughly enjoyed their meals .... I sampled some of the vol-au-vent (very tasty). The bar/waiter really deserves credit for making our evening experience enjoyable and chef deserves credit for the food. Keep up doing what you are doing. I forgot to say Goats cheese there was amazing!

Excellent authentic Italian restaurant, so stick with the pizza or other Italian food.Service is great in this restaurant of 2 brothers (one is waiter, the other one is chef).You could call them a maffia family as they are always open for a joke.There are many choices on the menu (maybe too many which is the only negative point I can think of, because you simply can't serve all this daily and fresh).I have been here several times and tried different things, but I always come back for the pizza.You can't go wrong with the pizza or anything Italian.
