Authentic Italian pizza, ingredients are fresh and delicious. We ordered the meaty pizza, large and it was more than enough for 2. Staff are very friendly. Ambiance was lovely. Would totally recommend everyone to give it a try.

Central location and very near our hotel (Jurys). Had a pleasant dinner here, we both had pasta and it was tasty and well cooked. What made the restaurant for us though was the staff. We had our five year old grandson with us and they were so kind.

A group of 17 of us ranging in age from 14 to mid 70s had a wonderful meal for a special birthday at Albertoâs on February 9th. We had two vegans, vegetarians and meat (and escargot) eaters in our group and we all loved our food. We had starters and main courses and Alberto brought out a birthday cake supplied by one of the party before we chose desserts so that was our dessert. A lovely evening, thank you Alberto and all concerned.

Had a lovely meal out with friends, the food was delicious (love the new menu!) and the staff were friendly and attentive - Zoe and Ludovic were especially helpful and made the visit even more enjoyable! Recommend to anyone!

We are lucky enough to live about 5 minutes drive from this wonderful cafe, and we are regular customers. The coffee, and hot chocolate are very good. There are some very good cakes available, and the staff could not be more friendly.There is some seating on the pavement outside if you prefer not to be inside.For those of us "oldies", Wednesday is "pensioners' discount "day.Strongly recommended.Thank you very much for your kind comments and recommendation to other customers

This independent run restaurant, part of a small chain of others in Hertfordshire, serves both breakfast, lunch and dinner. I believe they serve an all day breakfasts which is extensive, well presented and beyond tasty!!This was our third visit in the space of 2 months so I guess itâs our regular now. The staff are helpful and attentive, happy to very their menu to suit the needs of the guest. The service is quick and menu options are extensive. The lunch menu looks tantalising with a variety of Mediterranean delicacies.Price: ££ beyond reasonable for breakfast - £7.50 to £8.50 a head for a huge plate of food, in some cases the tea and coffee is included. No need to book this restaurant - usually has tables to accommodate.

The worst place I have ever been too! I went on reading the reviews and was disappointed. The place is dirty, the staff just as dirty and the food horrendous!There are jars of sauce for sale and they look years old. The owner/chef looks unwell and not capable of running a business let alone cook. The smell from the kitchen was unbearable and the toilets were a disgrace with urine stains all over the walls. No soap to wash hands what about the staff?! My kids love their food and they turned nose up. In fairness probably because I couldn't hide my dismay. This experience put me off lunch altogether so if you want to loss weight this is the place to go!Should be shut down Hello.Just read your review and yes I remember you well : you were quite stressed with your 2 young daughters and you even apologised with me having been a little too loud, which was fine, really. Children behave like...children. When they don't it would be questionable .First of all I am very surprised that the TripAdvisor moderators let you get so personal about my health in a food review. Strange ! You ordered 2 Spanish omelettes , a favourite at Roastino for over 6 years. I took the order as Brenda was busy. I commented to you that they might be a little spicy for your young girls, but you told me that married with a Greek you were used to spicy food.Smell from the kitchen ? yes natural aromas travels and stimulate the appetite of most of us.As for the toilets we clean them 3 times per day everyday and check them regularly .When I came back to enquire about your food you over praised me on its quality and as all the 3 plates were empty. I was very happy about your comments and even more when you payed you decided to purchase x 3 of our home made slow food jars that we sell also online Nationwide. ( you said in your comment that "they looked old", so why did you buy them then ?)I am shocked now to read your overal comments as they are the opposite of the experience that I had with you on site. We are from Watford and we were looking for somewhere different to eat so we headed here. We got a table for 17:30 for a family of 4, and had the restaurant to ourselves which was lovely. ESP when you are trying somewhere new with kids, you never know how they are going to be so itâs a relief when we are the only people. The service was amazing and very friendly, they interacted well with my daughter which we donât usually get when eating out. I can imagine that the place is buzzing of an evening and we will be back to enjoy it fully! But defo a place to return!!Food was lovely! I tried every dish at our table and every dish was different, some places you go, all the sauces are the same base so the food is samey but not here! Each of our 4 dishes where different in flavour.Perhaps up-sell some garlic bread as we forgot to order but would have with a prompt. Fantastic bite to eat! And we will be back!!!

This was an excellent restaurant to come to for pizza and pasta - the choice of both is huge and I particularly liked the opportunity to pick your sauce and then what kind of pasta you wanted with it - I chose gnocchi with amatriciana sauce which is tomatoes, white wine, onion and bacon. There was plenty of flavour in the sauce with lots of bacon pieces. Other family members went for pizza, and the ones who had more than a margherita found the toppings were very generous (my younger child resorted to just eating the toppings eventually as the pizzas were a very good size!) Desserts too did not disappoint. My portion of tiramisu was generous and very light with excellent coffee flavour. The rest of the family enjoyed their various choices of warm chocolate fudge cake, Mississippi mud pie, and Mint Trufito (mint ice cream with a chocolate sauce centre, covered in chocolate). We were served by a number of different staff throughout the meal, all of whom were pleasant and friendly, and meant there was always someone available to help. Very good value.
