We came to eat here at lunch time and it looked quite fancy in and out but was empty. However we were really hungry and the menu had a lot of choice. I ordered fettuccine with spinach, pesto, and parmesan. I got spaghetti with a dollop of green sauce that looked and tasted like it had just been poured out of a jar. My partner ordered veggie pizza and it was not fresh but stale base with tinned mushrooms and four tiny bits of pepper. Do not eat here the food was awful!

The food was nice, and it is very cheap for italian food. Ten soles for lasagna and garlic bread :) It came out pretty quickly too.

Nice restaurant near Parque Tupac. Old house, decent infraestructure. Nice tables and atmosphere. Good wine list choices, some expensive, some reasonable bottles of smaller producers. Ordered a Spanish tempranillo that was nice. Loved the appetizers, especially the marinated mushrooms. The pastas are great. Not sure if they are home-made. Good, knowledgeable waiters.Positively the best Italian food in Huancayo. However, even though the owner is Italian and cooks very well, you are always in the hands of the cook.

If you don´t want to think so much about what to eat, pizza is always a good choice, even for vegetarians. Don Pietro is a good and tasty place. The service is good and the relation service and price is perfect. They use local cheese so the taste is a little bit difference but yummy.
